Harley and Leo are like the “gifts that keep on giving.” Since their arrival I’ve felt as if I’m living a fairytale. It’s as if I’m a character in Peter Pan and the boys are a doodle version of Tinker Bell complete with “pixie dust!”…

In the famous folktale, Tinker Bell would often tell Wendy Darlng, “All you need is faith, trust and pixie dust.” And with this website, and ALL the joy it’s brought me I too am a believer:

“I do believe in fairies, I do, I do, I do!”

“My faith” is in God, my family, and my love for writing. Everything the boys do – I see it as a story.

“My trust” is in my website wizard, my friend and social media mentor. She doesn’t own or want a dog, and she’d never heard of a doodle, but after reading a handful of blog posts she told me “you have a passion that needs to be shared.” So I put my passion in her hands…

“My Pixie Dust” is YOU! The fact that you continue to read, support and love the boys and all their antics is indescribable. You have become an extension to our doodle family. Your comments and remarks are so special and important and always welcomed, please don’t ever stop sharing them with us.

A year and some months later, my life now gone completely to the dogs –  I meet an incredibly talented entrepreneur – Pamela Wahl, Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of “The Virginia Maryland Dog Magazine”…

…and she’s invited The Boys and I into her world as a contributing writer…

The Summer issue contains my first article! When I saw it in print for the first time last week – I was speechless (that’s new for me) and tickled beyond words, and I just had to share it with you. I wrote about a trip we took to Dewey Beach, DE for a pawtastic Doodle event…
