“Raise your hands in the air, wave em like you just don’t care” – We’re having a pawty, Jax is a Puppy Pre-School Grad #whew …
He we made it till the end #celebrationtime
Although I initially felt this experience was geared more for me than him, I am officially a convert. He too has learned a few things and hopefully will retain valuable skill sets for us to work on together. #keephopealive
- He’s confident around other puppies w/o Harley for support.
- He can sit when I tell him (providing he feels like it)
- He’s completely brain washed to believe when my hand is in my pocket, I’m coming out with something tasty #gullibledoodle
But the greatest benefit turned out to be a special gift for me – I spent quality Mommy and me time with my Jaxy. #precious
And for those reasons, if time and budget allow, I say “YES” to puppy pre-school classes.
ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE THE OTPR PUPPY PRE-SCHOOL GRADUATION CLASS OF 2015
SULLY –
A great playmate for Jax. they both love the ear tugging game…
MIKA –
This is the Goldendoodle Jax fell in love with on his very first day. She’s sporting her Summer cut now…
KODA –
What an angel. She was only 8-9 weeks old when we started and she aced the final exam taking home a bag of treats…
On behalf of the rest of the class, Mika thanked their teacher Jeff for all his time, patience, and dehydrated duck treats!…
WHAT’S OUR NEXT ADVENTURE? –
Jax says “agility“…
That’s pawfect! It will keep him occupied while Harley works on his CGC Certification!
We’ll keep you posted 🙂 #punintended
This is our contribution in the BlogPaws (some-what) Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Congratulations Jax! That is one super cute graduating class.
June 17, 2015
Thanks so much, I’ve got a graduate in the house! LOL
June 17, 2015
Way to go Jax! We’re starting with an in-home trainer this week to learn some basic puppy training for Piper, plus re-fresh Wrigley on things he has forgotten (i.e., decided he’d just rather not do anymore!), and work on some specific house-triggered issues (like back-fence barking!). Wish us luck! 😉
June 17, 2015
I think that’s cool – I want to find some one on one training for Jax next. He’s a great puppy, but I sense he’s going to be a little more “head strong” than Harley or Leo ever was! #myluck
June 17, 2015
Congrats to both of you for making it through 😉 Looks like it was a pawty!
June 17, 2015
We may not have done EVERYTHING correctly – but Jax made sure to wag his tail and give lot’s of licks to the instructor each week. That (I’m sure) helped get us his certificate 🙂
June 17, 2015
Congratulations for all your hard work. Cute class. Now we are looking forward to your next accomplishments. We wish all dogs had such great humans to work with them.
June 17, 2015
Why thank you Jan, I think Harley and I will go for his CGC certification and Jax will hopefully expel some of that energy on the agility course.
June 17, 2015
Awwww, our little Jax is growing up too fast. Already a grad student!
June 17, 2015
I know MK, time for higher learning! LOL
June 17, 2015
Oh my doodle! He’s getting so big!! Jax practically takes up your whole lap! 🙂
Good job on passing puppy obedience! I bet Jax will love agility! It’s certainly a favorite of ours. <3 <3
June 17, 2015
Yes he does Aavery. Did Graham tell you that I’m his #1 fan? He is incredibly talented. I told him to take his time, but I am on pins and needles waiting LOL I love Jax’s picture, PAWsome 🙂
June 17, 2015
Congratulations Jax and Cathy! Best part must have been the Mommy-Jax time, pawsome memories!
June 17, 2015
It was/is Alessandra, we enjoyed every bit, each week. The car rides, all of it!
June 17, 2015
Good work, Jax. Harley, Bailie got her CGC last summer on the second try. If she can do it, it will be a breeze for you. It was a breeze for me as I’m more well mannered like you. Mom was also wondering after seeing the tunnel if Jax had tried the tunnel? Maybe if he starts in it young he will love it and get Harley to try it too.
June 17, 2015
These classes sound like a wonderful all-around experience.Congrats to Jax for passing pre-school! That is really pawsome. Things only get bigger and better from here. He had some truly adorable classmates too 🙂
June 17, 2015
It was a really cohesive group – and I’d love for us to all link up together in about six months, and see how everyone’s grown.
June 17, 2015
Cathy, I see weight loss in your future if you’re going to be doing agility! And probably another middle-age-dog-mom post . . . You are a woman of courage.
June 17, 2015
Oh, you can bet $$ there’s a few Diary entries in my future Emmy 🙂
June 17, 2015
Congrats way to go! The whole gang is super!
June 17, 2015
Thanks JoAnn
June 17, 2015
Congratulations, Jax! Looks like you had a great group of friends to learn with!
June 17, 2015
It was a great group! I think it would be fun to plan a class reunion during the winter months to see how everyone’s grown.
June 18, 2015
Yay for graduating! Onward to agility!
June 18, 2015
Looking forward to it Mr. N. – we’ll keep you posted.
June 20, 2015
Congratulations to both of you!!! Well done!
I agree, the quality time spent together is the best. 🙂
June 21, 2015
Thanks Jan!
June 21, 2015
Having been there with a much older pup, I completely empathize. Congrats on getting your baby to shine. 🙂
June 22, 2015
I don’t know about shining Monika – I’m just elated that we didn’t get thrown out. LOL
June 22, 2015
Puppy Pre-K is awesome! Congratulations, Jax.
And I love that Jax has learned to be particularly alert (ahem, obedient) when I put a hand in my pocket. Honey has too.
It’s really tempting to be evil with that knowledge, isn’t it?
June 22, 2015
Evil ain’t the word! I feel like Satan LOL I dip want to continue with classes, hopefully this heat will let up a bit before agility begins. I think that will be a great class for him.
