A NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

Yes, a New Year Resolution has my name on it and I shall go forth with all the gusto I can muster.

I know – I yelled it a gazillion times, I’M NOT DOING RESOLUTIONS, but I’ve changed my mind (I can do that right?).

Pet blogging furrends Keep the Tail Wagging and Slimdoggy have encouraged me through a blog hop, (with the assistance of PetsMove.org) to …

Blog-Hop-Badge_250

Their goal is for us to band together in an effort to help each other KEEP our resolutions, as well as becoming more committed in striving for a healthier pup.

Therefore according to the instructions on both of their blog sites, I hereby accept this New Year’s challenge and commit to exercising myself and Leo in 2014 so we can be better than we were in 2013.

First I had to list my resolution on a piece of paper – DID THAT

Tie it around Leo’s neck and take a photo…

Then send said photo with commitment into Slimdoggy before the 4th of Jan.

Together Leo and I are going to walk more, play with Wilson more, and HE will watch what I eat.

Leo is in great shape, but could really use more exercise because he is still so young and super active. I will try and capitalize on that – so pray for me please.

“Statistics suggest that almost 80% of us that do make resolutions each January rarely seem to follow through.” I would be one of those people!

I’m supposed to track our activities on PetsMove.org

But in this case it’s “my” weight we’ll be tracking (privately), and Leo’s stamina through our increased activities.

I’m sure you’re interested in Harley’s work-out plan, aren’t you? Well, according to him, he said he has his workout regiment and it’s all he needs at this time…

Thanks for reading, I’ve resolved to move my mutt and in return move me. What are you doing?

You can do this one. There is always time for a little more activity like walking! You can do it!

Emma, I’m really going to work hard at living a healthier life. Leo will be an excellent trainer. Just keep me in your prayers because he can be relentless when it comes to outside play.
      Thanks for reading

Well I’m going to give it a try at least. Ate way more than I should have over the holidays – not complaining, just ready to do something about it, and what better way then to do it with two energizer doodles! Thanks for your support – I’m going to need it…

I’m not big on resolutions either because I always break them! There’s something about writing it down that jinxes me!
But…..I am going to resolve to move my mutts, because I want them to stay healthy!

I agree Jen, And when you think about it, in our attempt to keep them healthy, we are in return doing something good for ourselves. I hope I can maintain though, we’ll have to keep uplifting and supporting one another throughout this process. Take care and keep warm.
