First let me say this, “Harley you did an excellent job with “your half of the July PetBox product review!”
Harley believes I’m going to throw him under the “Doodle bus” with the conclusion to this PetBox product review. Quite the contrary. I want to apologize to him, because what you are about to read and witness through photos – is actually my fault.
Our PetBox ritual has always been the same…
They wait for me to lift the box lid. They rip through the paper, sniff the contents, play with a few of the toys, and then they’re allowed to open the treat of their choice. Last month Harley chose to open “Coco Therapy Fruit Crunch” snacks.
This month I opened the box, he played outside with the Bionic toss and tug, and I had every intention to return to the rest of the box when we came back in the house.
My phone did ring! As soon as we came inside. It was a dear friend in need of a shoulder to cry on. Her pup of fourteen years had been extremely ill and it was time for her to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge. She was so attentive to me last month when Leo passed – it felt “right” to be there for her. We talked for quite a while when I noticed my cell phone battery light was blinking. I walked upstairs to plug it in, and I guess I forgot how long I was up there.
It’s rare for Harley not to be in the same room with me. We are never more than a few feet apart from one another. When I noticed he wasn’t visible, I just assumed he was napping down the hall.
Apparently while I was yapping on the phone “upstairs”, Harley went “downstairs” to make his PetBox treat selection. He decided to open the LICKETY STIK, a fun all natural treat that he is all too familiar with, and enjoys! I’ve used them in the past, it works great with “recall” training. Easy to handle, carries well, and there’s only one calorie in about every ten licks. It’s a treat “to-go” packaged smartly in a rollerball container that gives just the right amount each time…
The problem was, he didn’t wait for me…
Harley adores puzzles, and he’s a whiz at opening bottles. I’m ashamed to say, but I must admit – I was on the phone for a very long time. Homeboy had a field day with this thing – all over the room!
“Thank the Doodle” for the next two products. They were like gifts from heaven.
First I pretreated my carpet with NATURE’S MIRACLE GREEN LEAF STAIN & ODOR REMOVER…
An environmentally friendly plant-derived remover that tackles pet messes, stubborn stains and odors without harsh chemicals. You can use it on carpet, upholstery, fabrics and more. Trust me when I say, I tested this “bad boy” to the max! I grabbed my Bissell carpet shampooer #notincludedinthePetBox and voila, clean again…
Now for “clean up on aisle Doodle.” Harley had chicken flavored “Lickety Stik goo” all over his face, under his chin and some on his paws. He was a chicken flavored hot mess! But guess what was waiting for me in the bottom of his PetBox?
PAWGANICS GROOMING WIPES. These things smell so good! Natural and non-toxic…
The biodegradable, SLS, bleach and paraben-free formula allowed us (I had a helper) to wipe away the gravy like substance and smell from his coat and paws…
Harley knew he wasn’t smelling his Doodle best – he was super cooperative…
I do not hold Harley responsibility for my afternoon of cleaning. I tampered with the natural order of things when the PetBox arrived. I had no idea how serious our procedures were are 🙂
I can honestly say I’ve gotten good use out of ALL our products this month! And you know the best part? Because you can personally select your pups items, I can re-order another Lickety Stik for Harley next month – since this one is all gone!
Surprise the four legged love of your life and order a PetBox with all his/her favorite toys and treats. Remember to use the code “Groovy” to redeem your discount.
In closing, Harley wasn’t placed in the garage for Doodle detention, he was placed there with his friend Marshall so I could clean up the house. He has since been reassured he’s still the best Doodle in the whole wide world, as I hand fed him the rest of his pupcorn from the other day…
In full disclosure: I was not compensated for this review. I was given a PetBox for Harley to try. All opinions are my own, along with Harley’s lip smacking and tail wagging approval.
Thanks for reading. Have a great day, hug a pet, hug a friend, hug somebody just because…

We had a similar problem, except it was cat bro Bert that stole Bailie’s Lickety Stik which Mom left on the counter after a training session. Bert is no ordinary cat, so he grabbed it, carried it into the dining room (obviously because it is a place to dine) and proceeded to puncture holes in it with his teeth. It looked like a strainer when Mom found it. The room smelled of bacon and the carpet had a new polka dot pattern. Our carpet cleaner from Bissell got it all out, but the stik was dead. Mom was probably away for 10 mins tops but that cat is a sneaky devil!

What is it about those Lickety Stiks Emma, cats and doodles do crazy things to get their paws on it. Oh my, sounds like our houses are really very much alike!
