First delivery? – SNOW!
Although it wasn’t much, it was enough for the boys to enjoy. And best of all – it was a “beautiful thing” to watch as it came down, and a “beautiful thing” to know it had disappeared by the next morning (there is a God!).
As soon as I bundled up and opened the garage door, Leo gathered his balls together to let me know after our walk we were going to play a while…
When it comes to outdoor fun – I am not the “alpha” in the pack (sorry Caesar), so “play” is exactly what we did…
…for what seemed an eternity…
I started to leave Leo out there – my hands were almost completely numb INSIDE my gloves…
Harley abandoned the ballgame and tried to play with our neighbors maltipoo. His owner has trained him to be terrified whenever he sees Harley. Don’t be alarmed, Harley would NEVER “hurt” lil Cooper. His pet parent (and my good friend) Cheryl have convinced him that he will surely “die” if he engages in the art of play…
When I was finally allowed back in my house, as suspected – these two fell out for several hours…
Second delivery? – BARK BOX!
Their box of treats came the other day, and I threw it up in my office and quite frankly forgot about it. When “Thing One and Thing Two” woke from their afternoon siestas, one of them (don’t know whose thing one or two), came in my office and began shuffling the box across the floor…
Naturally I stopped what I was doing (did I have a choice?), and we opened the box…
This box was loaded with treats. Harley muscled Leo out of the way and started digging like crazy…
When he finally finished, his face was full of packing paper…

BARKWORTHIES: A healthy chew – unlike rawhide chews – these bully sticks are 100% beef, so your dog can actually digest them. Leo and Harley don’t “do” chews, and they don’t “do” beef – but I know a friend of theirs that will really enjoy it, so I will pass it on!
NOOTIE: All natural, grain free (whoo-hoo) Yumzie natural peanut butter flavored treats. This is what Harley was digging deep for, so of course I had to open them right then, and it was a peanut butter party!
SUPERIOR FARMS: Crunchy bites of 100% gently toasted natural lamb protein treats.
Like I said, this was the month of delicious tasty treats.
