Although it aired for ten years (1989-1999) I never watched the television series Baywatch. I just remember the star of the show (David Hasselhoff) running along the beach to save some hysterical girl from the water.
If Jaxson was the star of the show, he’d be the dude Dood running after a ball instead of a babe…
The show would begin with him patrolling his section of the beach.
He’d spot a foreign object in the air, realize it was a ball and wait for a couple of seconds…
Then as if the ball started screaming his name, he’d sprint into the water…
Jumping the waves like a surfer, he’d forget about his own safety (or the safety of the person holding the other end of his leash). His only objective would be to reach the distressed ball before it hit the ocean and started bouncing out of reach…
HE’S GOT IT –
Risking his own safety, the ball is secure. He’s protected it from a possible drowning, shark attack puncture or worse – another human taking it home. #notonhiswatch
He prances back to shore with his ball feeling victorious…
Another episode of a piece of plastic rescued from floating around the Atlantic Ocean, forever.
Can’t you hear the theme music? #tellthetruth

Move over, David Hasselhoff! There a new man in town!
August 3, 2016
HA! – Think Jaxson could keep a tv series going?
August 3, 2016
I laughed reading this, what a brave boy Jaxson is!
August 3, 2016
Yep! He has no fear when it comes to the water, actually he has no fear when it comes to anything! He’s a hot mess, love this Dood!
August 3, 2016
That Jaxson is Amazing. All of his antics keep me riveted, especially his Water antics. Ziggy hates the ocean. I don’t know, maybe I introduced him to it too soon.
(he was about 8 months). I have never seen Baywatch either, nor Seinfeld. But in my mind Jaxon is the King of the beach. Huff Who???????
August 3, 2016
I wish there was a way I could capture all of Jaxson’s antics! He keeps both Lee and I chuckling. Such a comedian. Always in a great mood, always striving to share his happiness. I love this Dood!
August 3, 2016
I saw a few episodes of Baywatch here and there; and IMO you didn’t miss anything. Jaxson is definitely THE Beach Dood! Go rescue that ball Jax!!
August 3, 2016
I think I’m gonna have to grab a Go Pro and start his own series!
August 3, 2016
He needs a bright red collar and leash and he would be perfect!
August 3, 2016
You’re so right Emma – Will have to look for one before he starts filming again LOL
August 3, 2016
I can so hear the Baywatch song bol! You’re a pawsome rescue pup! Now go save those puppies and kitties that swam out too far! Oh, and keep your eyes out fur those fish with the big pointy fins!!
August 3, 2016
Hi Milk Paws! So far all we’ve seen in the water (besides humans) is our ball. But the next time we venture out to the big seas, he’ll be on the look-out, I promise!
August 3, 2016
That’s awesome Jax!!
August 3, 2016
Thanks Tiffany!
August 3, 2016
I haven’t watched Baywatch either, but I would if doodle was starring as Doodleanderson 😀
August 3, 2016
That’s a good one Valerie! Hair blowing in the wind and all 🙂
August 3, 2016
I think your TV series is far superior! 🙂
August 3, 2016
You’re like me Monika – I so prefer to watch fluffy dogs run around on the beach then old sun burnt men LOL
August 3, 2016
So cute! But he really needs to master the slow-mo run! 🙂
The struggle is indeed real to comply with being wordless. It’s usually an #epicfail for me. 🙂
August 3, 2016
Jackie, I love it when you blog on Wednesday, I always sigh and think (I’m not alone when it comes to breaking the rules LOL). Jaxson is not a slow-mo runner, but I will try for our next episode!
August 3, 2016
Thank goodness you got there in the nick of time to save the ball Jaxson. Please tell you mother that I love her beautiful photos of you in action.
August 3, 2016
Thanks Sharon, photography is not my strong suit, but I am trying to improve with those Doodle action shots!
August 3, 2016
LOL – I love it! I never watched Baywatch either, but I sure saw the promos. But with Jaxson starring I would definitely watch! 🙂
August 4, 2016
Based on the comments from this post Jan, seems like no one “really” watched it much. How in the Doodle did it stay on for so long?
August 3, 2016
I never watched Baywatch either, but I would if animals had been the stars!
August 4, 2016
Animals make every show more entertaining Melissa!
August 3, 2016
Haha! I never watched Baywatch either but I would much rather be rescued by Jaxson than David, lol!
August 4, 2016
Quiet as it’s kept #metoo!
August 3, 2016
Jaxson has David Hasselhoff beat hands or should I say paws down!
August 4, 2016
You’re such a fan Pip – I love it #andyou
August 3, 2016
I’m pretty sure they’re doing a re-make and clearly you should be sending in Doodle headshots and this post for consideration! What a great beach day!
August 4, 2016
I laughed to myself when I read your comment! Can you imagine their expression when they opened the envelope and saw his photo with a post-it on there requesting consideration for the show? Makes me want to do it. LOL
August 3, 2016
I never really watched Baywatch, but that would change if it had starred a cute dood like Jaxson! He would make a great tv star. 🙂 I can just imagine all of the beach babes wanting to check him out.
August 4, 2016
You’re right – he was quite popular the day we were there. Folks came from everywhere to inquire about him!
August 4, 2016
Where is Harley? Under an umbrella, sipping a cocktail on the beach, watching from afar? Lol!
I’d take Jax over David Hasselhoff ANY day of the week, hands down. 😉
August 4, 2016
Harley? Home on the sofa snoozing with Doodle Dad. He really isn’t a beach doodle, so most of the time Jaxson and I fly duo-solo 🙂
August 4, 2016
What a handsome Dood!!
August 5, 2016
Thanks DZ – how are you?
