DOG-HUMAN COMMUNICATION

By Wednesday, July 13, 2016 29 Permalink

Let’s have a little fun today thinking about dog-human communication!

I know I’m not the “only” one who believes my dogs communicate with me. #thetruthshallsetyoufree

According to my BFFWiki

Dogs communicate emotions through body positioning based on Charles Darwin’s The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals published in 1872.

KNOWING THAT –

Could this be the Boys “new” hip-hop salutation?…

Love it! Whenever our dogs are doing this, I think the message is “is she still watching us? yeah, I think so.”

    Cathy,
Both my girls are Therapy Dogs and they love it. Their attitude changes as soon as they put on their “therapy” collar. The are not doodles, but I am in serious search of one! I live in lower Alabama and pickins’ are slim. I wanted to rescue instead of going through the puppy stage again–work 3 days a week. If you hear of anything around this area, could you PLEASE let me know. Since rescues are hard to find, I am leaning more toward a puppy–male. Thanks for your blogs with your babies. I really enjoy them.

Hi Peggi! So nice to hear from you! I love taking Harley to therapy. He seems to truly make a difference in so many lives – even if it’s only for a few minutes! In regards to a rescue Doodle, please visit IDOG (located on my website) it’s the International Dog Owners Group, and they accept, foster and re-home Goldendoodles and Labradoodles. I have only heard excellent reports from them, and I’ve become friends with one of their officers. I also used them as a referral tool when helping my neighbor locate a Goldendoodle. I trust them, and would certainly rescue my next Doodle from them. Thanks so much for reading, and please come back again soon!
