Fun!! π I’ve always wanted to take Storm to a game but we don’t get out much so when we actually do get out and about she is so hyped up that it can be difficult to control her. Maybe I will wait until she moves a little slower and more gray settles in her hair first before I bring her to one. π
August 24, 2016
Hi Jenny, it really was a lot of fun. If you don’t want to wait until Storm becomes a senior dog – I know pet parents that feed their dog “calming” cookies and treats just to take the edge off. They said it helps acclimate the dog over time to adjusting being out in public places. Check with your vet and see what he/she says…

Ooo how cool! Looks like he was super interested in the game π
August 24, 2016
Kia – Jaxson is mesmerized with television so I wasn’t surprised when he studied the field as the ball flew and the humans ran around. I was praying homeboy didn’t hop the wall and go after the ball. That would have certainly made the news!
August 24, 2016
Well that sure looks like fun!
August 24, 2016
I’ve never done it before but it was a lot of fun. I would love to do it again next year.
August 24, 2016
Did he manage to catch a ball???
August 24, 2016
No Emma he didn’t – I was super nervous that he was going to run out on the field, you know Jaxson and balls.
August 24, 2016
OMD! How exciting to attend a real ballgame! I am sure that you were the star attraction. β₯ β₯
August 24, 2016
They were until the game started LOL We loved our hang out area. It was private and we had a great view of the field.
August 24, 2016
Your dogs are allowed in the stadium for baseball games! We’re SO jealous – I could take old Bruisy! That should be on his bucket list to be honest. What a FUN outing!
August 24, 2016
It was a fun family evening. “Cheap date” is what Doodle Dad would have called it. We had a nice time. Harley lounged on the floor after stuffing himself silly with ice cream and Jaxson loved watching the game. I guess for him it was television coming to life π
August 24, 2016
How fun that dogs are allowed in the stadium. I would love to take Bailey to a game.
August 24, 2016
Sharon – I’ve had the best intentions even when we lived in Va, but I never went. This was the last home game where the dogs are allowed and we had so much fun – I could kick myself for not doing it sooner.
August 24, 2016
Looks like he is having a great time!
August 24, 2016
He had a blast!
August 24, 2016
Well look at you!! Did you get popcorns?
Snorts,
Lily & Edward
August 24, 2016
He doesn’t like popcorn – instead they shared a huge bowl of vanilla ice cream – their favorite!
August 24, 2016
Cute shot! Do the Charleston Riverdogs get to play the Myrtle Beach Pelicans?
August 25, 2016
Not sure – I would think they do! Seems like they would be in the same conference. Will have to look into that one!
August 24, 2016
How fun! I hope that your favorite team won. Jaxson looks like he is very into the game. π
August 25, 2016
I have absoDOODLEtutely no interest in the team BOL – I was only there because of Harley (I’ll tell why on Friday!)
August 24, 2016
Wow, a real live baseball game! That’s fun for humans and dogs!
P.S.: I’m all forgetting about my age!
August 25, 2016
That’s why they call it “America’s favorite past time” it crosses all ages (two and four legs) π
August 24, 2016
How fun! (Rita would probably only want to go to a ballgame for the junk food! She’s not much for ball!)
August 25, 2016
They were both eyeing my french fries pretty hard!
August 24, 2016
It’s so cool that dogs are being allowed to go to baseball games. One day maybe us cats will be ablte to go too. Nah, we’d much rather watch the game from the comfort of our home…preferably on the couch!
August 25, 2016
I believe a cat on a leash would be a welcomed guest also!
August 24, 2016
It’s been YEARS since Sam & I went to a G-Braves game. The season before the AA team moved to Pearl, MS. But I wouldn’t take the girls b/c Callie was a sneaky thief. She’d have stolen some little kid’s ice creams.
August 25, 2016
Callie sounds like my kind of dog – loads of fun and surprises. How are you doing these days? I am always here if you want to talk! #always
August 25, 2016
It really does look like he was getting ready to go out and chase a ball!! BOL!! Glad you had the chance to enjoy the game together!!
August 25, 2016
It was our first as a “family” of two and four legs – and we had a blast! Loads of fun…
August 25, 2016
Fun!! I’ll wait till Friday for the full story.
August 25, 2016
He really enjoyed himself and Harley was loving that Charleston breeze….
August 25, 2016
So cool! They used to have a day where we could take our dogs to a Blue Jays game but they scrapped it. No idea why but BOOOOO! I say the more things to do with it pets in our day to day life is a good thing.
Can’t wait to read more.
Xo
August 25, 2016
Who would have come up with that brilliant idea? I mean really? It is so much fun – I could slap myself for all the times I missed out while living in VA. In fact, I missed an entire season right here in Charleston! You should write someone – you ca do it Lindsay! XOXO
August 25, 2016
Did he like it? Mr. N has only seen neighborhood games and kids play.
August 25, 2016
He was so engaged it made other humans smile, comment and laugh as they watched him. It will definitely be something we do next season for sure.
August 28, 2016
With your pups, at least you don’t need to take a glove to the ballpark with you! π
August 28, 2016
You’re right – I just really didn’t want to test Jaxson so close to the field. A part of me thought it might be a little fun to watch him scramble around 2nd base though….
