Sunday, I drove to Charleston SC for four wonderful days. While I was gone, I stood on the ocean floor and wiggled my toes pondering what I would write about upon my return…
This is a common practice of mine (not the “toe wiggling in the ocean” part), because I think about writing all the time. Stories race through my brain – compliments of my entertaining subject. If Harley is anywhere within vision proximity, I guarantee you, there’s something going on. Therefore I write 🙂
When I am away from Harley, I am super anxious to hear what “shenanigans” have occurred (in my absence) that are worthy of a blog post! Today’s story literally “fell in my lap” before I even got home, by way of text messages between family members about the wind, the tree and the dog! All of it happened –
Harley must have worked extremely hard to have fallen asleep balancing his head on the stick…
That’s what I call a “hard working doodle”
Thanks for reading, I had a great time, but trust me when I tell you –
Have a great weekend, be safe and be kind 🙂

HAHAHA My doodles are help in the yard too –HA Dash likes to help me dig and Lilly likes to sit in the shade and supervise. Harley looks to be a lot more help than Dash and Lilly! Doodles are silly

Harley has always been a stick man, Leo on the other hand had no interest. He would have laid around the yard waiting for an occasional toss of the ball, but he never ran after a stick. I miss my big baby still 🙁

You chose the right time to be gone and leave that tree work to the boys! Good job Harley!

It could have been much worse Slimdoggy – this way we didn’t loose the fence, that would have been disastrous!

Oh my! That WAS a big tree! I’m glad no one was hurt! And you have such good helpers!

Yes it was and yes we did! I am not ashamed to admit that I was happy not to be there for the initial clean-up 🙂
