Godog plush toys are tough! #jaxtough That’s what they advertise, and so far that’s all I’ve experienced. I find them to be reasonably priced, in a variety of bright and enticing colors.
They’re on the top of my “go-to” list of toys when it comes to Jaxson.
Especially when we’re talking plush toys…
Made well and can sustain his abusive display of affection as he drags it through the muck and the mire.
CHECKERS –
That’s what this particular series is called. Fun characters made from a durable, checkered plush material which features “chew guard technology” to stand up to tough play!
Chew guard technology is a manufacturing process that adds a super tough, durable liner to spot plush toys. The chew guard lining was specially engineered to withstand tough play. All seams are double stitched and reinforced. Dogs are tough but chew guard is tougher, Source: Godog
Godog created four different animals to choose from –
- Skinny Brown Roosters
- Fat White Roosters
- Elephant
- Donkey
And they all come in two sizes (small / large)…
Jaxson barked more than once for the large Rooster. We played with it at our new favorite doodle spot – Pet Supplies Plus.
Anything that makes Jaxson jump – is more than likely coming home with us #krisskrossjaxson…
If you’re looking for something new for your dog that’s durable, super soft and adorable, then order your Fat White Rooster (large) for $7.95 through Amazon
I’m really feeling the elephant – that just might be our next pawchase.
May your clothes be comfy, your coffee strong and your Monday short ❤️

We have the rooster too!! It’s a good one! Dash is 10 years old today. Wow! As you know, I love my doodles–and this little boy is super special. Hope you have a great day — give your doods a kiss from me!

Jaxson loves that Rooster. I can’t’ believe Dash is 10 years old – time truly does fly. Harley is 8 years old and I just keep asking myself where on earth did the time go.

We have a Go Dog dinosaur (bought at Bed Bath and Beyond-use those coupons!) and a Go Dog fox bought at our not so local independent pet store (trying to support the little guy). Both of these are still intact! Though I have found it helps to have a choice so Cody doesn’t play with the same one all the time. I must say he still loves a cheap stuffed, squeaky toy that he can destroy in minutes!
Have a great day, stay safe (storms coming your way?). I hope things have settled down from the move.

Since I wrote this post, I’m learning how so many people love these products. They really do produce quality merchandise.

We have a GoDog shrimp and a GoDog clam…Chloe loves them – so much so she hasn’t attempted to tear them up yet. She just gums them and uses them for a pillow.

I would love to get the shrimp. I’ll look for it next time I’m in the store. So far, Jaxson’s Rooster is doing pretty good.

We’ll have to check them out. Love the chicken

Please do, I believe you will pleasantly surprised at how much fun they are.

We have two collies who are unusually tough on toys…I may have to check these out!
April 6, 2017
These are definitely for the abusive types like Jaxson LOL

Oh, that chicken looks like SO much fun!! We are going to check these out! Thanks for sharing!

You’re welcome – let me know what you think.

We love ALL things “GoDog” and those toys are particularly adorable and obviously a HUGE hit!
April 6, 2017
They love them so much I plan to pick up more over the weekend. Each Spring I try to funeral-ize those toys that got beat up over the winter months. LOL
April 3, 2017
Jaxson definitely looks excited about that toy! We’ve had some other toys from GoDog and I don’t think they survived too long. They were enjoyed though. These look fun, and I’d still be willing to give them a try (especially since the price is so good!).

This series seems to last the longest – I would give it another try Jan! 🙂
April 4, 2017
The way Ducky destroys toys, I’m not sure even the toughest GoDog rooster would last more than a day; but I might check them out anyway.

I would definitely give it a go! #punintended They are excellent toys. I don’t mind buying them either.
