Welcome to “Doodleville.”
It’s a spare bedroom we converted into Groovy Goldendoodles™ HQ. I removed one human bed to accommodate two dog beds, yet they still remain in the hallway. Shut the Doodle door!

We have a toy room upstairs but we are never in there except to grab a toy and leave. We want to be where Mom is, so we have beds around the house in various places. As long as we are together we are happy, but we don’t want to be alone in our own room unless Mom is there with us.

Hi Emma, I don’t want your furrends Harley & Leo to be alone either, I thought it would be nice for me to make the office comfortable when I’m in here working. Perhaps they want the human bed back. Do you like human beds?

It can be done, with perseverance. My older brother weasel would not go on his bed. We kept placing him there repeatedly and at times with treats. Now he wants to be in it all the time. Loves it!

Hi there Piranha Banana – When the human bed was in the office, we could hardly move around. They would cram up in there and not move! So I thought, “move the bed – gain more room – buy two additional beds just for when I’m in there working.” Since the renovation, they have chosen the hallway. Maybe they want the human bed back! You think? Thanks for reading. PS: you’re a cutie pie!

So cute!
When we have gotten new furniture, the dogs will stay far away from it. It takes a couple of days of just letting them explore it on their own and then after about a week or so we can’t get them off it!
Maybe it will be the same for your doodles. 🙂 Hope so!

It’s hilarious to me. When the human bed and furniture was in there, I had to be so careful not to roll over a tail or paw with my chair. I just knew once I moved those things out, they would love the space to stretch out. It’s not like they rested on the human bed – they didn’t. So now the room is spacious, welcoming, and it looks like an office, but they sleep in the hallway – right outside the door Go figure. Thanks for reading, take care.

They’ve got to maintain close proximity to the action…
