Our family gatherings are “chaotic”, and rarely go as planned, yet they’re so much fun, and create a preponderance of memories. That is why I absodoodletutely adore “Sunday Brunch.”
Our daughter Tiffany, decided to host one yesterday. Her choice of words on the invite (yes, she sent out invites!) was pawdorable:
“Everyone is invited to my house for Sunday Brunch – two and four legs”…
I was so excited to see Kate there!
Kate and Tiffany have been “besties” for decades. They met at the College of Charleston and roomed together until graduation. They returned to Northern VA and remained roommates through job searches, relationships and cancer!…
Years have passed, Kate is “married with children” and she and Tiffany now reside a mere two miles from one another. Kate and Dave make it a point to “share” their two girls with Godmother Tiffany…
There’s Aubrey…
…and little sister Ainsley…
While Harley hung out with the “little people” Leo basked in the company of Manny and his mom as they performed a “doodle-massage”…
Harley loved his private picnic with Aubrey and her basket of blueberries..
After dinner (which was incredibly delicious) Aubrey and Kate opened a BarkBox with the Boys…
Aubrey did her best to read the contents, but as usual, Leo wanted the toy…
And Harley wanted the treat…
Downstairs we all tried to burn off some calories before dessert. “The Girls” played some games with “The Boys”…
And then to be fair, Harley tried to find some “girly” things to do with Aubrey…
While Leo and Tiffany had their own little “tug of war” moment…
The rest of us were ready for our cupcakes. Poor Harley, he could not fathom why he didn’t get one…
Outside romps, and a little ball play, made for the pawfect ending…
Sunday Brunch with family – THE BEST
Sunday Brunch with friends – THE SWEETEST
Sunday Brunch with doodles – THE ULTIMATE…
It was a long day, but a wonderful one…
Thanks for reading, have a great week, and go ahead – plan a brunch soon…

What a fun time! You should have brought the tunnel with. Maybe the boys would go in with the kids. The kids would love it for sure!

OH MY DOODLE Emma, that was a great idea… We should have brought the tunnel along. That would have been the PAWfect opportunity. Well you better believe it – I will certainly remember next time.

Looks like Harley was tired after the visit. Wonder if he is dreaming about cupcakes? BOL! The pictures are great and looks like everyone had a good time.

Trust me, Harley had enough cupcake icing for the two of them. Yes Stacey – it was a wonderful day, simply PAWfect!!
