PET PORTRAIT DAY

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
With the dogs taking pictures,
and pet parents smiling,
The air full of “Holiday Cheer,”
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…”

The Holiday Pet Portrait Party at Olde Towne Pet Resort was an absolute “doodle-blast.” Photographic pups everywhere, posing like professional models. Once I receive the boys proofs, I will post for all to view and choose your favorite. The winning photo will be our 2012 Holiday Greeting Card!

As promised, I tried to capture “behind the scenes” shots to provide a diary of the merriment. So without further “ado”, scroll down and enjoy our day…

The person behind the lens is none other than Makya Renee Pryor of Mareta Creations

First up – BOSCO with his sister Jayme…

FERGUS, a dead ringer for Leo, is a 4 year old Doodle with oodles of energy…

TWISTER had no problem sitting still while the lights flashed…

HONOR sat perfectly still, only problem? He had his back towards the photographer waiting for his treat! He did reverse his position – after the treat that is…

To watch TUCKER sit still was impressive. He had “perfect” pup posture and was mesmerized with the treat his mom Kate waved in front of him…

Lil’ COOPER spends so much time in his mom’s arms – he decided he wasn’t standing or sitting on the floor today. Alternative? Have her (Cheryl) hold him covered in fake snow, and she’ll be cropped out later!…

THOR is a beautiful dog, reminds me of Rin Tin-Tin…

Makya enjoyed watching DAISY wait on her parents to get situated…

KLONDIKE takes his photo shoot seriously. Talk about blending into the background! “Photographer Extraordinaire” said he will be absolutely beautiful when she’s finished editing the picture – I can’t wait…

SILENT (yes that’s her name), pranced over to the backdrop, sat down, and stayed there allowing everyone to take as many photo’s as we wanted. Talk about accommodating…

Remember MYLES and his lil’ sister Madison from Doodle Days? Well, Myles looks the same, but Madison is tall and walking now…

Leo’s favorite groomer – Matt, brought his new baby CLOVER out too..

IVAN’s mom didn’t think he would sit sill. Boy was she surprised…

The “Beagle Babes” BABY & LULU were a handful, but once they settled down, they were the cutest little things…

CHAZ looked regal, plain and simple…

HARLEY the Boxer” sat down, raised her head up in the air and posed like a statue! She loved that jingle bell collar…

NORMAN, ROONEY, & LAMPARD came in with their owner Ann (also an OTPR employee) and with her command, they sat and waited until she told them they could get up…

SASHA, accessorized with reindeer ears allowed her sister Elissa to place her in just the right spot!…

Told you – it was a super day! My boys left me after a while and went upstairs and ran around with their friends while we finished with the photos. And now? Out like a light…
