Often times I forget just how large Leo really is…

I mean I spend an enormous amount of time with him and after a while, it doesn’t register. Every now and again, I’ll see him with someone else and think “that’s a big dog!”…

Whenever he and Harley are playing, poor Harley has to rely on “street tactics” to muscle him down. He’ll either “go low” and try to grab his ankles to get him to fall, or he’ll try to jump on his back (often mistaken for “humping”) as if he’s an African Cat trying to flip a wild Antelope (I watch entirely too many Wild Kingdom programs). It is hilarious to see…

I have a friend and neighbor who is the proud pet parent of a Malitpoo named “Cooper”, and she loves the boys!…

There is a considerable difference in size between Leo and Cooper. Especially when sitting on your lap…

Today, this friend stopped by to say hello and thought it would be “fun” to play with Leo. She saw a ball on the floor and decided to engage him in a little game. Not sure what this game was, but she spent the majority of the time imitating a “weeble” (remember those egg shaped roly-poly toys from the 70’s?). She weebled and she wobbled, but she refused to fall down.

“Yes”, I had to record it, and “yes”, she gave me permission to write about it, and “yes”, (most important) she is still my friend!

A BIT OF NEWS TO MAKE YOU SMILE ALL DAY…
Sunday my mom celebrated her 96th birthday (go ahead and cheer, it’s ok!) and of course the boys were on hand for the celebration. So many of you have enjoyed the stories I’ve written about the relationship between her and the boys she affectionately calls “Poochie-Poochie.” Well Harley & Angel posed for a photo at the party. He always seems to make her smile!…
