This is our lucky Sunday! That’s right, tonight we’re your “Doodle Bloggers.”
It’s been quite some time since we’ve been able to contribute something. So when Leo eyed DM (Doodle Mom) “chillin” in the sunroom, he seized the moment. He got right up on her and said, “take it easy tonight, Harley an I – we got this one”...
We wanted to write about something you’d find interesting. We wanted you to read our story and BOL (bark out loud) so we had two “doodle storming” meetings. One in the recliner and one in the hallway…
Our winning topic?
We agreed to tell you about our experience with the “Doodle Sitter.”
DD (Doodle Dad) asked DM “out” Saturday evening. That morning and most of the afternoon while he attended a meeting, she pulled things in and out of the closet…
Leo (the novice) was very confused. He didn’t “get-it.” He kept asking me what she was doing, and why all the fuss.. He said, “DD takes us out all the time!”
I had to break it down to him and explain, that DD wasn’t “walking” her, he was taking her out on a “date”…
…and not to a “dog park!”
Later that afternoon Leo told me he heard DM mention our names when she used the talking box (he can’t say telephone yet). He said we were going over to DB’s (Doodle Brother) house. I told him “get the doodle out of here” He said he was pawsure he heard right – and we both started chasing our tails with excitement. Spending time with DB is like a couple of hours in a pet store where everything’s free!
Now I know many of you know DS (Doodle Sister)…
We bark about her often. She’s pawdorable. Always doing stuff with us, and finding us cool doodle toys and stuff.
This is DB. Doodle Mom’s baby boy, and Angels favorite “Grandson”...
OMD – he is so much fun. He runs, flips, throws balls, he even crawls on all fours and chases us around the room. Pawsure!
He travels for work, so he’s gone a lot, but when he can, he hangs out with us doods too. He watched me (Harley) once, this was BL (before Leo) – sshh…
He does Pet Expos…
And he’s great to take to fund raisers…
On Saturday he spent “quality” time with us…
I must confess though, I pretended to miss DM, and he sat on the floor with me for hours giving the best neck rubs…
Being at his house is pawsome because he does all the things DM won’t let us do.
However, he must master adding a little more speed in the art of meal preparation. We waited patiently for what seemed furever while he prepared our dinner…
It took so long, Leo fell asleep. He’s got to get better with that. Doodles don’t like to be hungry Lee!…
He took good care of us just like DM asked, and we enjoyed spending time with him.
He’s a cool dood…
“Collar us flattered” that someone would take the two of us in for an evening, we think that’s really special, but the truth of the matter is – there’s no place like home…
Thanks for reading, we did our best. We’re “neu-ter” this writing thing. Doodle Mom will be back on Wednesday – we pawmise!
