DOGGIE DOPPELGANGER

We’re nearing the end of the week, so let’s have some fun today, okay?

Have you ever noticed sometimes dogs look like their owners?

BOL (bark out loud) From the side profile we do have similar features

Well apparently it’s becoming a theory that some have named the “Doggie Doppelganger Syndrome.”

When I saw this segment on The Today Show, before I became offended, I had to google the word “doppelganger” because I had never-ever heard of it.

Well turns out this is a noun with the definition: “an apparition (the appearance of something remarkable or unexpected, typically an image of this type) or double of a living person.”

Feeling much more comfortable and at ease (at first I thought it was a disease or meant something terrible), I smiled, laughed, and was entertained with the segment…

You know, there could be some credence behind this theory. It caused me to spend a great deal of time this afternoon examining photos.

Check this out:

When Leo and I wear our glasses, one could say there is a slight resemblance…

Our future’s so bright – we’ve got to wear shades….

And who would dispute that our hair color and photo poses are the same…

Can you hear the Sister Sledge song? “WE ARE FAMILY”

We even have furrends who could be contenders in the “doppelganger syndrome” theory…

Jamye and Bosco both share a very “regal” look…

We’ve all heard people tell couples “you’ve been married / together so long, you’re starting to look like one another.”

Today I pondered the same notion about me and The Boys. And you know what? I’m in excellent company. If someone wants to describe me as “fluffy, sweet, and loveable” I’ll take it!

I’ve acknowledged and accepted my fate

Are you a doggie doppelganger? Send us a photo.

Thanks for reading, hope we made you chuckle a little today….

I don’t look like our dogs, but I do believe that they carry many of my traits. Rodrigo wants to be in charge, but will cave if he can’t be bothered with the fight. He also lets the world know when he’s bored with a big sigh. And Sydney is a princess and knows it – loves to eat, and appreciates a good nap.
