ARE YOU READY FOR CHRISTMAS?

By Wednesday, December 23, 2015 26 Permalink

Seems like everywhere I turn – the gas station, the grocery store, even the fast food drive thru’s – they’re all asking the same question –

Are You Ready for Christmas?

When I think about it – I really don’t know. #pawhaps

Before I leave the house to run a few errands I think I am.

But then when I get into the store, I’ll start singing and sometimes dancing to that piped in holiday music as I walk the aisle and strange things happen…

week-1

This is why I chuckle when I hear that question because whether I’m ready or not – it’s coming. #nodoubtnodiggity

The human children have started to trickle in. I have missed them terribly since the move, so having them around me for a few days is a gift within itself…

While Jaxson #poorthing is desperately trying to grasp the whole Christmas concept #thisishisfirst

Yet in the midst of all the hustle and bustle, I find myself more focused on the true meaning of Christmas. #thereasonfortheseason

Merry Christmas to you All. I am truly never really ready for Christmas, so I just throw my hands up in surrender & stay indoors. Lol amazingly enough, Ziggy seems to look at our tree ,with all of the lights twinkling, as something to marvel over, at a distance #icantbelievethisishappening. I consider myself really lucky in that respect. Continue to enjoy your Holidays and I can’t wait to see the Christmas morning Beach pictures:-)

I think many people had the same dilemma this year Claudette, we knew it was coming, but for some reason this year it came rather quickly. Could have been the unseasonably warm weather we’ve all been experiencing here this winter. It’s usually mild here in Charleston this time of year but 82 degrees on December 25th is a little strange for us too! Enjoy your New Year my friend –

We may or may not be running over to the pet store right now to see if it’s open and buy some last-minute gifts for the pups!

    • Cathy Bennett
      December 28, 2015

I thought about that too Kari, but I aborted the urge at the last minute. Jax and Harley were fine with the few gifts that their human siblings provided. After all, everyday here in Doodleville is a lot like Christmas!
