Harley has a new friend. They met the other afternoon. While chatting with a neighbor I noticed Harley laying on the lawn with absoDOODLEtutely no intentions of moving…
It’s not “that” odd for him to be still when we’re outside, the oddity was the length of time he remained “rooted” in one spot!
He evidently found something worthy of his undivided attention. Something that captivated him so – he refused to move, no matter how many times I called his name. Harley had found a new friend…

I think I would have freaked out with a friend like that!! LOL

I’m cool with frogs and toads Aimee, but if it had been a squirrel then we would have had a whole different WW post. BOL

What a cute friend! Happy WW!
September 12, 2014
Happy WW to you too!

Did you play leap frog?
September 12, 2014
No we sure didn’t Talent Hounds, we just watched…. #boring

Frogs scare the mess out of me, and we have a pond in our front yard that attracts them. I don’t think Ziggy likes them either, they’re too noisy lol, or maybe I transferred my fright onto him. I told Curtis that if Ziggy ever happends to chase one down and tries to bring it back to me, I’ll have to abandon my precious angel till someone comes and rescues (me) lol

I can relate Claudette, my secret fear is squirrels – I will pass out and die if ever one got too close to me. I don’t know where this fear came from, but believe me when I tell you – it is real!

Yikes! You need a cute furry friend, not a prehistoric reptile! Mom doesn’t let us play with frogs or toads.
September 12, 2014
Emma, have no fear, he wasn’t thinking about playing with it – he only wanted to watch it – evidently…
September 10, 2014
Just remember not to lick your new friend!
September 12, 2014
You got that right – that would be a whole different kind of Wordless Wednesday 🙂 BOL
September 11, 2014
Oh wow! Talk about an interesting friend ~ our pups would chased it through our yard!!
September 12, 2014
Barbara, I was watching closely at first not really knowing what Harley was going to do. Surprisingly, he only watched it!
September 11, 2014
Aww! At least Harley was respectful of his new little friend. Lizards get chased around here, and we haven’t really seen any frogs…
September 12, 2014
Tiffany he never gave me an inkling that he was going to chase, paw or hurt it. He just seemed fascinated to watch it! Go figure…
September 11, 2014
He’s kind of cute Harley. We saw a toad the other day and my human baby would have rather not made friends with him. She’s kind of scared of bugs and things right now…
September 12, 2014
Ann, I cannot believe your child would be afraid of any creatures! You’re like the coolest mom ever when it comes to animals and things!
September 13, 2014
Lovely! I would be a little concerned my toe would try to eat their new friend 🙂
September 14, 2014
At first I thought about that too Jen, but Harley wasn’t even interested in that, he was just hypnotized by the creature. Go figure….
September 15, 2014
Looks like a fun friend to have!
September 17, 2014
At my old house those silly toads would come right up to the back door, they startled the crap out of me when I went out!
September 17, 2014
Andrea, I think more than one at a time would creep me out too!
