Harley is  in love with the UPS man. When he hears the truck, he runs to the window and I can almost hear him bark out – “the PetBox is coming”

I’ve got paw prints on my windowsill…

On the day his August PetBox arrived, I was in the middle of some serious housework. I grabbed the box on my way up the stairs, tossed it on the bed in one of the guest rooms and went back to my romantic dance routine with my vacuum cleaner.

As I bent, twisted and stretched my old body to get that hose into those “hard to reach places” – a doodlerific thought ran through my mind…

I stood up so fast my head started spinning (because I stood up so fast). With the vacuum cleaner still on – hose sliding across the floor like a python I raced to the room just in the nick of time…

GOTCHA

As only Harley could, he looked up at me as if he wanted to say…

He melts my heart and he makes me crazy with his many gestures and expressions, HOWEVER – I must maintain my fantasy of “I’m in charge.” So I lectured him on misbehaving, and I separated him from his box while I finished my date with the python in the other room…

If he jumps up there we’re headed to Hollywood!

Before you sigh and feel sorry for him, trust me when I tell you – he wasn’t waiting that long. I returned with a pair of scissors and my camera and we opened his August PetBox…

Once again, it was a “winner winner – pizza dinner” surprise with BE PAWSITIVE OVEN BAKED DOG BISCUITS…

ALCOTT ADVENTURES makes a really wide and durable “adventure bowl.” I don’t know about you, but we can never have too many bowls…

This is definitely going in the Doodle Mobile because it has a 64oz storage capacity, and a 24 hour leak-proof lining. With the Autumn season right around the corner, we’ll soon start attending some College football games, and this will be pawfect to have handy…

Of course PetBox never forgets about me – month after month I can rest assured they’ve tucked something in that little blue box to make me smile. Can anyone else relate when they come across some new and improved poop bags?…

Stop laughing, I know I need other hobbies….

Another gem created for neat freaks like me, is a hand made DRY dog shampoo by FOR DIRTY DOGS. I can’t wait for Harley to get a little “musty” so I can try this one out. It’s supposed to deodorize and remove excess dirt and oils. I will definitely let you know how it works as soon as I can make him a “dirty dog”… #punintended

Of course there is always going to be a “fav” of Harley’s – so without any further ado –

He fell in love with these Twizzies from EMERALD PET. They are hard as can be but breakable for me, and I only give him a little piece which he gnaws on and carries around. He loves it…
