The big thing in our house this month? Proper Toppers – superfood dog clusters…

My Boys can’t get enough of it.

These clusters of goodness are a recent item here in Doodleville.

It’s no secret that I’ve been feeding The Honest Kitchen to both Harley and Jaxson for years. They’re crazy for the taste and I’m #doodlelirious about the benefits #dontgetmestarted

WHAT ARE PROPER TOPPERS? –

Limited ingredients you can add to anything you feed your pet. It boosts the taste of food if you’ve got a picky eater and adds additional whole food nutrition to each meal for any dog.

You may recall me saying I like to add human grade #petappropriate foods to their meals.

I’m known to add –

• boiled ground chicken
• fresh fruit and/or veggies
• canned sardines #thankskimberly
• pumpkin

One day, the chicken was frozen, the only fruit in the fridge were grapes #dangerwillrobinson and I was out of sardines AND canned pumpkin.

Seemed like the pawfect day to bring out the bag of Proper Toppers from THK. #doodlewinner

Yes, THK food can stand alone and they love it, but I’m into creating variety with their meals #crazydoodlemom

The Toppers are much easier to “pack & go” then fresh chicken, fruit or veggies. When we’re traveling out of town, or even when I’m visiting my sister-in-law for the day – I grab the bag.

They’re light and crispy, made from just 5 whole food ingredients –

• dehydrated turkey
• dried apples
• dehydrated pumpkin
• dehydrated chard
• dried blueberries

I use five finger tips full as a little extra “sumpin-sumpin” on top of their meals…

They’re also great treats when we’re on the go around downtown Charleston.

Available in grain-free Chicken and Turkey – either one is a huge hit with the Boys 🙂
