I am super excited to tell you about our new wireless light up Power Decal. The first time I saw this product was on Shark Tank.
TRUE CONFESSIONS: I am secretly obsessed with Shark Tank. #mustellthetruth
If you’ve never seen the show, and you think you might like to watch aspiring entrepreneur – contestants make business presentations to a panel of “shark” investors than this show is also for you!
One evening with popcorn in hand, I binge watched a gazillion episodes using the DVR but stopped eating that fattening buttery goodness from my bowl when I watched a segment featuring Power Decals.
The gentlemen told an interesting story detailing how this invention popped into his head:
Coming from his son’s hockey game, he was sitting in parking lot traffic. The car in front of him had an ordinary hockey team decal on the rear window of the van. When the driver turned on the DVD player for the children the light from the television screen illuminated the decal. That was his “ah-ha” moment.
HOW DOES THE POWER DECAL WORK?
Here’s an excellent video that explains how easy it is to install…
This (to me) was the coolest thing, so I “googled” and squealed a little when I saw their website was up and running and they offered pet decals ($19.95). #lookoutnow
I was intrigued and then I wondered – would they be interested in creating a “custom” decal? I wrote them and attached my new logo. I was tickled to doodle when they responded with interest in a product review #saywhat?
When the decal arrived, I was thrilled. It is beautiful…
Here’s a better photo next to Harley so you get an idea of its size (the little tail thing you see hanging down is pulled off once your ready to install it.)…
Even though Doodle Dad offered to put it on the car for me, I gracefully declined his offer. I wanted to do it myself. I had to see if it was truly as easy as they said it would be – it is!
Here it sits (during the day) next to my other favorite Doodle decal of Leo (courtesy of Stylish Canine)..
And this is what it looks like at night…
Presently their website offers:
- Major League Teams
- Colleges
- Fire & EMS
- Flags
- Signs & Symbols
I’m having loads of fun with mine, it’s a great way to strike up a conversation that I adore barking about – dogs – doodles & blogs #hellosomebody
WANT A POWER DECAL OF YOUR OWN?
Contest runs for a week – and you could have your very own…
Who knows – we might end up at the same traffic light one day…
Honk! at us 🙂
Have a great weekend, be safe, stay warm, and be happy 🙂
In full disclosure: I was not compensated for this review. I was given a customized Power Decal to use along with one in their inventory to raffle, in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own – based only on my experience with this product.

Such a cool product! The Shark Tank show must be include a lot of these interesting products… I reviewed Pet Paint once and when it appeared on the Shark Tank show one weekend, that post got tons of views. I hadn’t seen these before, so thanks for sharing!

Ann, it’s the creativity of the contestants that intrigue me – they come up with some innovative products, things I would never ever dream about. Then there are some that are hilariously kooky too 🙂 All in all, I enjoy the show.

February 7, 2015
That would be nice. I think they make great fund raiser gifts. Doodle Dad is thinking about getting one for his Fraternity for that very same reason.

omg I want one so bad! If I win one I will buy another one for my husband! I want a Detroit Lions one but I better check and even see if they have them lol
February 7, 2015
Caren – they have them 🙂
February 6, 2015
That is really cool! I like the fact that it mounts inside and isn’t subject to the weather and car washings. I watch Shark Tank once in a while but didn’t see this one. What a smart lady you are to contact them and get a custom one made too!

JanK – the show captivates me! I enjoy it because I am truly amazed at how other people’s brains work. I could never think up the ideas that the contestants come up with. I let it air for an entire week and then sit down with my popcorn (my other weakness) and watch about two hours non-stop. You and I are attracted to it for the same reason – it mounts on the inside! Have a great weekend my friend.

These are sooo cool! I think I saw them on Shark Tank years ago? Is that possible?

You’re welcome Taryn. I love when I get out of my car at night and it remains lit for a few minutes. It always makes me smile. Take care!
