KONG GOES PLUSH

Kong goes plush and Harley’s in heaven #figurativelyspeaking

For years I’ve associated the dog toy company Kong with those hollow rubber fire hydrant shaped toys. I was thrilled to find out that they’ve also been making plush toys that are as durable as their first concept – the Kong Classic – pawfect for stuffing Kong treats (or peanut butter).

PLUSH TOYS –

If you’ve been friends of ours for a while, then you know Harley isn’t really a “dog-toy playing” doodle.  He came to me with a worn-out, beat up, tiny stuffed horse. The bad man I purchased him from said he was really attached to it and gave it to me. When Harley was strong enough he decapitated the horse (wonder if he associated it with the bad man?) #possidoodlebility

One day at the store Harley became actively engaged with a Kong toy called a “Funzler”

It’s a great interactive toy that will entertain a pet during solo play too –

  • Bend, twist or shake for squeaky fun – something he loves to do!
  • Strong fleece cleans and polishes teeth – that’s always a plus!
  • Handle makes tug and toss easy – great for lazy humans like Doodle Dad 🙂

At eight years old – I love to see Harley act like a puppy. And if there’s a toy out there that makes him feel like a puppy, then you know the rest #gottagetit

Since the Kong Company has been around for over 40 years, I’m expecting great things from this toy in terms of sustainability.

I’ll keep you posted 🙂

You can find a Funzler on Amazon for $18.27

ONE MORE THING –

This is not a sponsored post – I don’t know the Kong humans, I just wanted to share a great find with all our friends.

Do what you love and never have problems with Monday ❤️

Great to know!! Thank you!! I am always looking for good toys that Dash might like. Lilly just likes toys enough to grab them, run outside and drop them. Drives me crazy! Why can’t she bring it back in!!?? Dash loves to get a toy and play for a little while — tossing it, chewing it, running with it. Am ordering the Funzler now!

We have some Kong toys that are not the traditional Kong toys. Both Bailie and Madison have some Wubbas they like a lot, and some stuffed bears.

My dogs would LOVE that toy and Rodrigo would destroy it. So when I pick a couple of the Kong toys up, I’ll have to pick up 5 toys from the clearance bin for Rodrigo.

Cute toy, but I think Luke would make short work of tearing that one apart. We have had the Wubbas in the past and those were enjoyed, though they didn’t last too long. My challenge is finding something that will hold their attention for some time; I can just never guess what they’re going to like long-term (other than balls which Cricket will love forever). 🙂
