E-CLOTH GROOMING MITT

Have you heard about the e-cloth Grooming Mitt? It’s our new traveling companion!

Now the Boys are always camera ready #voguedoodles

Do you remember my sheer devastation when I found out that ALL DOG GROOMERS CAN’T GROOM?

Exhilarated” best describes how I felt when I later walked into THE PET MAHAL pet salon.

FAST FORWARD A FEW WEEKS –

Now I’ve got my own grooming table AND I’ve found the e-cloth grooming mitt. Words cannot express how full my ❤️ is…

DSCN3260

I’m a fan of e-cloth products because they’re –

  • kind to the environment
  • less expensive
  • last longer

This dual sided (machine washable) grooming mitt removes dirt, dust and loose hair while gently massaging your pet at the same time…

The light colored side features longer, stiffer fibers which gently brushes out loose hair and debris.

The darker colored side removes surface debris and hair, leaving the coat with a glossy sheen…

I knew Harley would enjoy a little rub down because he’s the first to jump up on the table…

Jax on the other hand is my problem Doodle when it comes to grooming. He’s still undecided whether he wants to trust humans again after the debacle at the first salon.

His new groomer told me he was more relaxed earlier this month and didn’t give her “as much” of a difficult time. We both agreed – having a table at home should help re-introduce a positive grooming experience. #Ipray

He’s more accepting of the wide tooth comb than the brush. But with the mitt, he’s tolerating the brush. #ohboy

LET ME EXPLAIN –

I use the mitt to lead in the direction and on the body part I want to get to.  With the brush behind the mitt in my other hand, I’m like Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid – “wax on – wax off.”

I’m still using treats but I think we’re on to something!

However, when he’s had enough, he’s had enough…

JAX

But we’re making progress. #onedayatatime

e-cloth has a line of pet products…

Love it!! The doodles are at the groomer today! Can’t wait for them to smell better! Poor Dash got really upset this morning as I was leaving him. Don’t know what that was about. He cried and cried. Now I can’t wait to go get him and hug him! Have a great day Cathy!!

Interesting. I’m not a fan of getting my furs done, but the groomer says I’m a doll when I’m there. At home, supposedly, I’m like an alligator being wrestled. We just do small amounts at a time at home and it seems to work best. I guess we are more like Jax.

Small amounts are best Emma when it comes to Jax. That’s why I like the Mitt. I can take breaks and rub him down which makes his coat look a little better. It’s a process, but it helps him relax a bit then I go back to the brush.

It’s a handy little tool to help with keeping them clean.

I have a similar brush/glove for Bentley that is worn out. It is actually a horse brush glove but it sure gets the dirt after a good roll in the grass. Haha!

I’m sure Jax will give me a test run on some dirty paws before the weekend is over.

Neither Tim nor Hank likes to be groomed, but to avoid getting mats, they get brushed several times a week anyway. We can always use anything that makes brushing more enjoyable

Anything that makes grooming easier is welcome here! Sheba, who needs it the most, does not love to be brushed. She’ll put up with it, but if she can get away she will. I think she might enjoy that cloth much more.

The cloth doesn’t brush, but it rubs real well. I’ve even gotten some excess hair off of Jax while using it. I like the sheen after I’ve used it.
