Saturday, (March 30th) was NATIONAL KITE DAY in Washington DC. The weather was picture perfect and the “doods” were on hand to enjoy the festivities…

As we leisurely strolled to the National Mall area – Leo was exhilarated when DH dropped his lease…

Harley and little people always seem to find each other…

… therefore Leo and DH were forced to wait until Harley finished posing with his new friends…

National Kite Day usually plays second fiddle to the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival. This year the trees haven’t really started to bloom yet (crazy weather), allowing the kites (and The Boys) to be the main attraction down on the mall…

Now if you recall – DH loves to fly his kite. He will share this passion with anyone who shows an interest. But with Harley & Leo on the scene, his kite never made it out of the bag…

There were “Oodles” of Doodle Lovers out and about…




Now I’ll give you one quick guess what this crowd is looking at…

…you are correct if you guessed “The Boys.” This time they were taking photo requests…

The weather was “paw-fect”, and it was nice to hang out and meet such pleasant people. You can’t be surprised when I tell you after all that fresh air and walking, the dynamic doodle duo were laid out cold before we hit the interstate…                                                                                                                                                                                                                It was “lights out” early Saturday night. The Boys accompany me once a year to Sunrise Service…

We said “Happy Easter” to some of our church friends…


And came right back home ready to nap the rest of the morning away!….
