DOG OBSESSED

Are you dog obsessed? Have you ever thought about it?

If you’re not quite sure – here’s a quick quiz for you.

DO YOU –

  • celebrate your dog’s birthday?
  • have more photos of your dog than your family on your phone?
  • put your umbrella over your dog instead of yourself when walking in the rain?

HAVE YOU –

  • canceled plans because you’d rather spend Saturday night with your pup?
  • set-up his own Facebook or Instagram page?
  • gone on vacay with your furry BFF and does he have his own suitcase?

If you answered “yes” to ANY of these questions – then you my dear friend might be –

Great idea for a Christmas list and/or gift. I know you’ll enjoy reading it along with trying out a few of those doodle*licious recipes.

Yes! We are dog obsessed! I just pre-ordered the book on Amazon and what a great holiday gift. The illustrations are adorable. So glad you shared – I know you’ve posted about a few of these recipes so I need to start testing and trying these!

I think my mom might be even more than obsessed! LOL! But, she is happy to be that way!

I too am quite pleased – thinking about getting a t-shirt…

I would answer yes to all of those questions if you replaced “dog” with “cat.” I am definitely cat obsessed. I have more pictures of my cats than I have of anything else combined. I always tease that if someone stole the information on my computer that they would be very disappointed to find it is just millions of cat photos. LOL This book sounds like a great read for any dog lover!

I can certainly relate (in a Doodle sort of “obsessed” way) – my computer’s loaded with photos too!

    Sounds like a great book!

If you have ever smelled a wet corgi, you will know the real reason the umbrella is over the dog and not me 😉

Taryn – you are hilarious! I’ve never smelt a wet Corgi – now you’ll have me looking for one next time it rains LOL

I answered yes to all but one! (Although that one was probably a sorta-yes too.. Even though it’s *my* Twitter/IG/Fbk account, she’s the one in all the pics!)

Sounds like a great book. THK seems like a really great company (the owner lives just down the hill from us. I’ve never actually met her, but read an article w/ photos of her and her dogs and it said what ‘hood she lives in – and then happened to see her and the dogs at the house. I always feel like I’m kinda stalking when I go past their house and look to see if she/the dogs are home.)

I have a FB account in my name that I rarely use LOL So I can definitely relate. How cool is it that you live down the street from Lucy. Next time you see her – talk about Harley & Jaxson – let them be your ice-breaker 🙂 The book is very interesting, I think it will make a great holiday gift.

Wonderful for me and for some family members that are dog obsessed! I had to laugh at the part about having more pics of dogs than family members. I swear my kids count the frames pics around the house when they come home, just to make sure they haven’t lost any ground to Haley, haha!

We all love great books and this one looks chocked full of great tips and recipes! Thanks for sharing it, Cathy.

Sounds like a wonderful book. I have to say, I laughed out loud when reading what you wrote in this post.

    In particular:

“Have you gone on vacay with your furry BFF and does he have his own suitcase?”
“…wine pairings just for me! #shutthedoodledoor”

Love reading your posts including your witty hashtags. 🙂

This is fantastic! I love the idea of the book and I’m looking forward to it coming out. I’ll have to add it to my Christmas wish list.

    Thanks for sharing it!

I’m not a fan of books about dogs, because most seem so damn depressing. This one looks upbeat and informative.

I love the idea of wine pairings! That kind of detail never fails to make me smile. And I’m always looking for tips on how to make my dogs just a touch happier on a daily basis. I might have to get my hot little paws on this book!

It’s one of those books that make you want to keep reading. Lucy’s writing style is like listening to friend talk to you in your family room over your favorite beverage. Plenty of information one can benefit from – yet written in a story book manner that makes you want to keep reading. Definitely one to have and enjoy!

I am DEFINITELY #dogobsessed!! Like Jodi, the FB/IG/Twitter/Pinterest accounts are all mine, but have more to do with Callie, Shadow, and Ducky than anyone else. And the pics on my phone? Total is over 1200 and at least 1125 of them are of my girls, past and present!!

I HAVE TO check-out the book! And, how can I get a tote bag and t-shirt? Definitely need the shirt! (I’m a jeans and t-shirt gal year-round now that I’m retired.)

Dog obsessed humans are my kind of people 🙂 We understand one another which makes for PAWfect endless conversations about dogs! I will have to see if THK will give me a tote bag and shirt to raffle off – great idea, let me find out! I don’t think they sell them 🙁 #notsure
