Harley’s ready for Santa’s Doodle Elf auditions…

While passing out a little tail wagging holiday happiness at the Charleston International Airport last week, we saw this gorgeous bench.

As soon as Harley heard someone say it was the chair Santa Paws sits in to take photos – he leaped up as if he was auditioning for a position as chief doodle elf!

The Boys and I have scheduled a photoshoot with Santa this coming Saturday.

This will be Jaxson’s first encounter with the jolly red suited bearded fella #canonlyimagine

What once was considered just for human boys and girls, has expanded to pet pawrents as well. We like making these howliday memories permanent too!

There are plenty of places offering Santa Pet photos. PetSmart will have a Santa on hand for three consecutive weekends (Dec 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th). They recommend calling your local store to verify.

Harley, Jax and I selected Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming in Mount Pleasant SC. with Jeanne Taylor Photography

Are you taking your pet to see Santa Paws?

Ruby is not always keen on men she doesn’t know (even Santa) so we won’t be taking her, but we took our former dog every year. That red couch is pretty nice – too bad you can’t take it home with you. LOL

That is a very handsome Santa and pet portrait. I think you made the right choice picking a place with a pro photographer. Can’t wait to see the pictures.

We’ll probably have our own version of Santa Paws. Waiting in line with the two knuckleheads can be a bit overwhelming and the last thing I need these howli-daze is stress trying to wrangle über excited poodles. Good luck with your photo shoot, no doubt your boys will be rock stars!

Wow, great photos…. and what brave pup! I think my dogs would run far away from the man in the red suite, too scary for them 🙁

I haven’t been to see Santa in quite a few years. There are not many opportunities for us dogs to see him around here and we are often busy on the days where he is available. Madison went last year but was not really impressed. Maybe Madison and Bailie will go this year if it works out, but most likely not. Enjoy your visit!

Ha….my crazy dogs would probably just bark at Santa! LOL
We will live vicariously through your photos.
