2014 was our year. Harley’s, mine, and yours! A year we won’t ever forget for many reasons and you were there for it all. Trust us when we say “thank you” from the bottom of both our hearts.
- To our faithful readers – it means the world to us that you return all the time, to keep up with the craziness of Doodleville.
- To our incredible pet blogging community – your encouragement and support has truly been amazing. I adore you all.
- To our sponsors, affiliates and pet product companies – we feel so special because you have entrusted Harley -Darley to eat, drink, play, bathe, and chew up your products so he can tell the rest of the world what he thinks… Harley says “thanks and keep em coming!”
As you turn a new leaf in your Book of Life with the advent of a New Year, here is wishing you an abundance of meaningful chapters. Happy New Year!
Here are a few highlights of 2014 our year. Take a bow, you played a significant role…
PLEASE BE MINDFUL
Between the champagne, the countdown and the fireworks, New Year’s Eve can be a lot of fun, except for those with four legs, fur and a tail…
If you’re having a party remember:
- Guests can leave doors open, handbags unattended and cocktails in easy reach.
- Purses are a danger because people often keep prescription and over-the-counter drugs in them.
- Chocolate, garlic, onions and grapes are also party food staples, but they’re toxic to our furry friends.
Let’s make New Years Eve safe and fun for everyone…
“If you asked me for my New Year Resolution, it would be to find out who I am.” Cyril Cusack

December 31, 2014
You had some really good times this year, even though I know it’s all sometimes overshadowed by your loss of Leo. You carried on in a way I know he would be proud of. I hope that 2015 brings lots more fun and good times for you and Harley and your family. I know I look forward to reading all about it! Happy New Year to all of you! xxoo
December 31, 2014
JanK – I could say the same to you. It’s been difficult at times but it’s also taught me to understand what people mean when they talk about a “faith walk” I learned so much from Leo while he was both here and then when he wasn’t. Harley and I plan to continue on, keep people smiling and make Leo proud. I look forward to more Wag n Woof Pets also – we’re family 🙂 Happy New Year XOXO

We stayed in last night and had our old girl (Little Bit) by our sides all evening. There were fireworks too, but we had her close and she was fine. I can so relate to how our babies are scared of the fireworks. All the other issues that a party causes is yet another dangerous thing to consider.
Have a fabulous new year and thanks for stopping my Comedy Plus. 🙂
January 1, 2015
Hi Comedy Plus! Yes, indeed. It’s amazing as pet parents how we see celebrations and parties so differently. My mom is 97 years old and she’s been struggling these past ten days, so we all (including Harley) stayed in her room and brought the New Year in with her! It was terrific. Movies on laptops, dinner in “to-go” styrofoam containers! It was perfect!
