Memorial Day Weekend – three days right before the official month of Summer where people enjoy life to the fullest.

Some will swim…

A few will explore the beauty of this country…

While others may travel…

Yet, let us not forget this three-day weekend is about so much more than picnics, pools and parades.

Memorial Day is a day to remember those who served in the armed forces and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Harley speaks for all of us here in Doodleville barking out a “thank you” to so many…

A MEMORIAL DAY POEM

(by Debbie)

Today we honor all of you,

Who served your country with pride,

You risked your life for all of us,

As you fought side by side…

Your strength and courage always showed,

No matter what the danger might be,

And you did all of this,

So that we could be free…

Thank you for what you’ve done,

And now we will all pray,

For each and everyone of you,

On this Memorial Day…

Nice job, Harley. Happy Memorial Day. PS…you should put your behind on the seat of the chair, it is more comfy than the armrest.

Thanks Emma – I too wish Harley would sit in the chair like a normal Doodle. Fact is, I don’t think his tush can fit BOL 🙂 Enjoy your Memorial Day, remember those who served…
