By now it has to be “Windex” clear that I am completely “done” with winter.

I mean, I’ve whined about it (thanks so much for commiserating with me!) at least a half a dozen times!

With that said, you cannot imagine the celebratory noise I made when I came outside Saturday morning to walk the boys, and saw this…

After our “mini blizzard” on Wednesday, I didn’t expect the snow to vanish so quickly, nor for the weather to be so “doodle-licious”, and all before 9:00am! By 11:30-ish, the sun came out along with our neighbors. DH (Doodle Husband) was trimming a bush (ruined by the weight of the snow), while Mr. “Good Doodle Neighbor” Harley decided to visit the man next door…

By 2:00pm, our list of chores finished, we hopped in the car and headed to a local “pet friendly” outdoor shopping mall. It’s a really nice place to take the boys. We walk a few blocks, window shop, pop our heads into Unleashed by PETCO to see what’s new, meet new friends (two and four legs), then come back home.

The drastic change in weather brought more than just us out. We passed by a group of models during a photo shoot, and the boys made such an impact they asked if they could have them in the picture…

The boys are such camera hams…

After their “celebra-doodle” shoot, we walked up on a 145 pound African Boerboel (Mastiff breed). If you look at Harley closely, you will see his leash pulling him backwards – that would be because of me. I’m ashamed to admit, the size of the dog was so intimidating, I snatched Harley back. Yup! I was scared…

DH took the leash (he wasn’t scared), and as it turned out, this magnificent massive creature was as gentle as a – well… “doodle”…

Along came a cutie named “Lady” a seven month old goldendoodle…

And she immediately joined the little impromptu social…

With tails wagging, they sniffed and pranced around for over an hour…

By the time we arrived back home, it was late afternoon and “Mr. Sun” was leaving…

But that was okay, because as the shade moved in, it reminded us of what was to come in just another few short weeks. Let’s go Spring!…
