It’s Tuesday night, DH is at a meeting, and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a doodle!

I’m upstairs trying to get caught up with household “stuff” when the doorbell rings.  Little Alex is standing on the porch (along with his taxi driver mom) bearing a surprise holiday gift for The Boys!

Together, Alex and his mom made something “doodlely” special for Harley & Leo’s Christmas tree.

Alex insisted on opening them and The Boys waited somewhat patiently as he fumbled with the boxes…

I swear the three of them are so cute together!

The ornaments are hand painted and they’re absodoodlelutely pawgeous.

They made one for Harley…

So sweet, look at the paw prints

…and one for Leo…

I love that they are dated. Do you think that means we’ll get another one next year?

Harley was very touched by the gesture. He sat with Alex for quite some time…

I believe he’s one of Harley’s favorite humans…

…and he even tried to give Alex an “I love you” lick…

He’s like a serpent with that tongue

The three of them have literally grown up together and I believe they’ll be like “two doods and a boy” furever…

Leo’s looking for something else in the gift box!
