Harley’s letter today is:
And he’s working with the word :
XERIC
zi(ə)rik
ADJECTIVE
Definition: containing little moisture; very dry:
Harley’s sentence: Trust me when I tell you this bottle of O.J. was XERIC by the time I was through with it…

Very creative X word guys – thanks for the education!
April 28, 2014
Surely Jack and/or Maggy have licked something XERIC on occasion!

Ooh a new word learned! You must really like your O.J! Bernie the Frenchie
April 29, 2014
Actually Bernie, I got in trouble for drinking the rest of what little was in the bottle because it wasn’t mine 🙁 But it sure did taste good!

Good job with a tough letter!

Thanks Emma – tell me, do you like orange juice?
April 28, 2014

April 29, 2014
Harley & Leo will eat peanut butter on occasion, but they’re not huge fans straight out the jar!
April 28, 2014
Well that is a new word for me! Used perfectly too 🙂

Thanks Ann, only two more letters to go. Who knew this would be so much fun – we’ve enjoyed it…
April 29, 2014
Well now that’s another word I’ve never heard of!!

Jen, to tell you the truth, most of these words I’ve used during this challenge are “firsts” for me too! It’s been fun and educational at the same time. Thanks for hanging in there with me/us….
