Groovy Goldendoodles are blogging from A to Z this month.
THANK YOU for learning and laughing with us. We’re half way through, and I don’t know about you, but we’re learning too!
If you’re not sure just “what in the doodle” we’re doing, don’t fret, click here where you can dig up the dirt on our little alphabet pawty.
It’s “Hump Day” so we’re working together on the letter…
Our word is:
NATATORIUM
nātəˈtôrēəm
NOUN
Definition: a swimming pool, esp. one that is indoors:
Our sentence: When we asked for some babes to join us in the NATATORIUM we were thinking four legged ones…
• This is the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge

Oh yay! I have a goldendoodle so had to come visit your A to Z. My doodle hates the water though. How did that even happen?

YAY! Hi Claire – You have a doodle that doesn’t like water? Hmmmm I took mine to the pool at the pet resort before I took them to the beach the first time. I was curious as to whether or not they would like it. For us it worked out – how old is your doodle? So nice to meet you… hopping over to your site in a few…

You guys are all wet. Somehow I did not see you boys as big fans of swimming but I guess I was off on that. How did you choose these words anyways? An inquiring GBGV mind would love to know.

Emma, they love the water. Harley needs assistance getting over the wake of the waves, but after that he swims like a fish. Leo just jumps and jumps for hours. Choosing these words for the challenge was a challenge 🙂 Choosing these words was fun – we found words with definitions that had relevance to photos we already had. Hope you’re enjoying it thus far….

Where do you two go swimming? I’ve been wanting to try it out with Luna to see if she likes it.

Olde Towne Pet Resort (Springfield, VA) Tell them the Boys “sent you” and get a discount for Luna 🙂

Wow! What swimmers!! My Dash swims a bit in the lake at the park but not Lilly. Not at all! I would love to see them in a great big pool like that. Dash would probably love it. I don’t know about Lilly. The boys look terrific! Next they will want to go sailing!!

Dash – perhaps Lilly might feel better about her first experience in a pool vs. the lake. Don’t know about sailing with the Boys – Leo might just jump off the boat 🙂

Aww! So cute to see them swimming in a pool! Ace loves the water, but he’s never had the chance to swim in a pool that size!

Hi Lindsay, I actually took them to the Pet Resort pool (where I snapped this picture), before we left for the beach one year. I read somewhere that all dogs don’t necessarily know how to swim. Needless to say, that wasn’t a problem for the Boys, and the beach was a blast…

Great post. It’s funny, I don’t mind having dogs in the lake, ocean or river with me but I am not a fan of them in the pool with me…not sure I understand it myself.
I linked to your #AtoZ participation on my post for N: http://www.e-bookbuilders.com/2014/04/navigation-methods-e-books/

Hi Deena – I feel you, this is a pool at the Pet Resort that they attend, humans (other than the swimming coaches) are not allowed.. Heading over to your site soon. Thanks for stopping by.

We’re having a lot of fun too Tiffany. Thanks for hanging with us.

Hope you had a nice swim in your natatorium – you can use that all winter long!

They don’t get to swim that often – but when they do, they take full advantage of it Slim
