Last week the man of the house decided to tackle some of those “homeowner-chores” still hanging around after he tried wishing them away! One task on the list was touch up painting on the base of the living room columns.
While he was painting, Harley came into the room and plopped down next to the freshly painted column – still wet and with the blue painters tape around it…
DH (Doodle Husband) cried out “Harley, watch the paint” and being the obedient Doodle that he is….

At my house the Doodles want to be a “help” with all and any projects! It’s amazing how they can get under, next to, nearby anything that I am working on in the house!! That picture of Harley is priceless! He is so adorable.

Thanks Dash – I am used to stepping over and around both Harley & Leo, but I think this was a first for Doodle Dad.

Harley was close, but thank the Doodle he never got close enough to get any of the paint on him. He just watched – as he was told!

At least Harley’s coat color isn’t too far off from the paint color. If he bumps into some of the wet paint, you might not know;-)

Chelsea, I thought the same thing – whew! it would have been a little difficult trying to clean up wet paint on his coat. Thanks for reading 🙂

Smart boy. When I saw the same thing to any of my dogs, past or present, they immediately start wagging–right into the wet paint.

You know Pamela, I was terrified that this would happen when I reached for my camera, but thank the doodle he was more interested in “watching the paint” BOL

One of my dad’s favorite jokes was something about being as boring as watching paint dry…
June 19, 2014
My dad said the same thing Slim – funny…

I thought he would do what our poodle would do… lick it.
At least yours is white and the paint is white. LeeAnna
