Sunday – the pawfect day for a photo shoot!…
Jeanne Taylor Photography – Jaxson’s new BFF…
Pawticipating in a photo shoot for a chance to win a page in the upcoming “My Name Is Milk” calendar – benefiting homeless animals and shelter pups in the Lowcountry is right up our #doodlealley!
My Name Is Milk is a Charleston SC based non-profit animal welfare organization aiming to support existing animal shelters and dog rescues in our area and beyond through fundraising, education, outreach, and fostering.
Supporting rescue groups who raise both awareness and funds to educate and shelter animals are humans we like to hang out with! Receiving the invitation to book a sitting was an easy “yes!”
Each mini-sitting, lasted about 20 minutes. Harley put on his #doodlecharm and smiled for the crowd as the breeze from the water blew through his ears…
DOES YOUR DOG WANT TO BE A STAR? –
That was the title of the flyer. I chuckled when I read it because Harley’s been a professional poser his entire life. He’s what one could easily label as “self- taught!“…
Shem Creek Park with its scenic surroundings couldn’t have been a better location. Known for their seafood restaurants and night life with breath taking views of the creek and acres of marsh. Super long boardwalks surrounded by smiles of wetlands…
BACK TO THE PHOTO SHOOT –
Only $20.00 per subject will ALL proceeds going directly to My Name is Milk.
- The photographer’s choice of image will be submitted for professional peer review and selection.
- Twelve top finalists will be selected for a full page, month placement.
- ALL participants will be included in a photo block within the calendar.
Harley took the lead with the first sitting and Jaxson used him as his muse. They both made me a proud Doodle Mom.
After their puparazzi moments, we relaxed, enjoyed the park, and I captured a few dozen photos for myself!…
We applaud My Name is Milk for taking on this endeavor and we bark “bravo” to Jeanne Taylor photography for donating her time and talent for such a worthy cause.
Of course as soon as we know something about the outcome, we will most definitely share. We mean this sincerely when we say it was Doodletastic just to be able to pawticipate!
Once we brushed the sand off our feet, it was time to head on over to the Ole Fashion Ice Cream parlor for a cup of vanilla for them and some Amaretto Cherry for me!
Can you tell who was ready to go?…
How was your weekend?
Appreciate what you have today, before it turns in to what you had ❤️
