LOST AND FOUND | PETBOX PRODUCT REVIEW | WRITTEN BY LEO

I find it fetching that PETBOX asked us to be official “SPOKES-DOGGIES” and review their toy/treat boxes once a month!

In fact, I take this new J.O.B. so “doodly-oodly” serious, once June rolled around, I begged Doodle Mom on hind legs to let me write the product review. #shesaidyes

Around the 10th of of the month, she received an email from PetBox telling her our box was “on its way.” But after a few days – it still hadn’t come.

Can somebody call “lost and found?”

By the end of the week I began to worry – we had not received our blue box! Something was terribly wrong. I was going to that contraption on the lawn everyday…

1

…but still “no blue box!”

We’re “neu-ter” this whole “Spokes-doggie” thing, so my first thought was:

“Dog-Gone-It” Harley’s review was so awful, we’ve been fired, and I’ll never get my chance to write mine. But luckily that wasn’t the case. Our PetBox ended up at the wrong house. It was sitting with some new neighbors we hadn’t met. #shutthedoodledoor.

Our nice new neighbor called PetBox, and our nice new bosses at PetBox called us. Apparently, the new neighbors live four houses away, and are very nice “humans.” Even though we wag our tail, and bark a hello every now and again, we’ve never officially met and they never knew our name. They do now! #thankspetbox

This months box was well worth the wait, and I am proud to be the one who tells you all about it. #WhoseyourDoodle?

Here are some of the items we got to eat, play, and bark about….

Can't wait to tell you about my favorite...

Can’t wait to tell you about my favorite…

Let’s see –

  • DINGO Market Cuts Chicken Jerky available exclusively at Wal-Mart. Made with only three ingredients: Real Chicken Tenders, Glycerin, and Potassium Sorbate (as a preservative). Contains no artificial  flavors, colors, or chicken by-products. Gluten free, and made in a USDA inspected facility.
  • YUMMY PAWS BAKING CO. Spale Power Bites  made from Kale & Spinach. It’s a treat with an abundant source of fiber, calcium, Vitamins A-E and C as well as antioxidants.
  • PETKIN Pet Wipes moistened with a natural formula that will help keep my paws clean. Gentle enough to  use every day around our eyes, ears, face and bum… AND it won’t remove spot flea treatments #thatsabiggieatourhouse
  • BIOPEL Natural Flea & Tick Spray (Innovet Pet Products) made DM smile because she is looking for something a little more natural to use on us this summer. It’s safe to use on our bodies and on our bedding. Smells lemony, is non-toxic and leaves no sticky residue. #shesexcited
  • AUSSIE NATURALS Wagga Wool Reloadable Dolphin took me to the Fur-side. I love the sound of that recyclable plastic bottle inside the 100% natural wool casing. And it came with a tag! I have this thing for tags. I love to tear tags off of toys #OhMyDoodle!
OBSESSED with a tag!

OBSESSED with a tag!

It’s absoDOODLEtutely a must for me…

NOW I can play with the dolphin…

Mission accomplished

Mission accomplished

But right in the middle of my “slay the dolphin” game, I smelled something Doodle*licious…

What in the Doodle? YUMMMM

What in the Doodle? YUMMMM

Harley pulled out a bag of COCO THERAPY Fruit Crunch….

6

A whole bag of of fresh organic fruits – such as bananas, blueberries, mangeos, pineapples, and cranberries – that were freeze-dried producing crunchy treats fortified with organic coconut oil. #getthedoodleoutofhere.

Harley worked this bag like he had lost his ever-loving Doodle mind…

And did he get in there? …

BARK-ON!

BARK-ON!

It was a great afternoon, and I’m still loving my dolphin.

Thanks for hanging out with me for my first PetBox review. Maybe I’ll get to do another one #donttellharley

In full disclosure: I was not compensated for this review. I was given a PetBox for The Boys to try. All opinions are my own, swayed only by Harley & Leo’s lip smacking and tail wagging approval.

My doodles rip off the tags of toys! They love to do that! Harley cracked me up trying to open the wipes package!! Not really as good as the bag of treats, I bet! Happy Friday!

Dash – Harley must have been jealous with Leo and the tag, so he grabbed whatever was on top! I let him continue because I wanted to see what he would do when he smelled the contents – HA, he left it alone and went back to the box. Hope you have a terrific weekend 🙂

I love how the doodles use their paws. Dash uses his paws exactly how Harley and Leo are using theirs. Lilly, not so much. She really just rips right into things!

I was not happy with PetBox. They notified me that two of the items I ordered weren’t available and had to be replaced. I will stick with BarkBox. I prefer them because I can order every 3 months, or every 6 months. It appears with PetBox it’s every month – no other options.

Hey Karen, I understand. Just as long as Mila is getting something special from the mailman – that’s what’s important – right? Hope to see you Saturday morning on our usual corner so the Boys and Mila can romp….

With PetBox you actually can order a 1 month, 3 month, 6 month or 12 month subscription! I love getting the option to choose what I want to pack. My dog doesn’t really need any toys, so I like to stick with the treats and the great accessories!

Hi Shelby – I too love the choices. Harley & Leo both have such sensitive stomachs so most treats do not even get opened. Thanks so much for stopping by – have a great weekend 🙂

      Hi Karen,

I’m so sorry to hear about your experience! We’d love for you to give PetBox a second try and send you a free month 🙂 If you’re interested, please email me at [email protected]. Have a fantastic weekend!

Amazing. I think it’s wonderful how they tear into bags & labels, spitting them out as they go…. Ziggy would eat it ALL, labels, bags, contents and all. Oh well, maybe in time 🙂

Hi Claudette – How is Ziggy doing by the way? Send us an updated picture when you get a chance. Is he ready for a play-date in the Doodleville yard?

That is bad when impawtent packages end up at the wrong house! Glad you finally got it. Seems like you enjoy it. We’ve tried these but it is not really our thing. Mom likes shopping too much, which we don’t mind. You did a great job with your review, by the way!

Thanks Emma, I’ll make sure to tell Leo, he loves comPAWments. I have difficulty managing both Boys together in stores, so PetBox is great for me. I do shop occasionally if I am alone or if Doodle Dad is with me when I have Harley & Leo in tow. We really hope to meet you and your family one day…. Have a great weekend.

Oh yay! That is so exciting that you are fellow #petboxspokesdoggy’s now! Unfortunately, Shiner’s dolphin did not last very long for her. But she did have such an excellent time with it!

Since Leo has been struggling with this upper respiratory virus the dolphin has had an extra long life here in Doodleville. I’m sure once he’s back to his normal self, Doodle Dolphin will meet a terrible end….
