Jaxson has really enjoyed watching the Summer Olympic Games. The other night I could have sworn he was having Goldendoodle Olympic dreams…
He really does stop and watch television from time to time. It was fascinating to watch which sporting events held his attention.
There were many events he had no doodle interest in –
- gymnastics #toomuchflipping
- beach volleyball #sandy
- boxing #painful
And there were those that kept him mesmerized to the big screen..
I think as he dreamt, he saw himself in Rio, competing in those events he loves.
IN HIS MIND –
While Michael Phelps got all the attention, Jax wants you to know he was there helping him practice every morning…
Usain Bolt learned how to take those turns from “lightening Jax” #yessir…
Davor Stefanek only gets to take the Gold home to Serbia in wrestling because Jaxson’s tail flipped off the mat during the trials and he was disqualified…
He’s still waiting to find out if the American Soccer team will put him on the team. He’s got a mean dribble…
And there you have it…
We’re loving these Olympic Games – how about you?
ONE MORE THING –
There’s still time to enter the “Ultra Oil for Pets” give-away 🙂

OMG, these are hysterical. And yes, I can definitely see that Jaxson has some Olympic skills! I am thinking he will definitely be at the 202o games (not sure where those will be held, but he will certainly be there). LOL.

Not sure where the 2020 games will be played, but he definitely needs to be considered for a new event LOL

Dear Cathy,
Teddy loves to watch the Animal Planet.
His Olympic favorites were the platform diving and beach volleyball. He still considers wrestling on my bed the end of perfect day.
Regards,
Rich and Teddy the Yeti

I’m laughing Rich as I read this comment because I must confess. I have put Animal Planet on when it’s raining and I need to get some work done LOL IT does catch his attention long enough to slow him down and then the nap comes!!

You would think so, but not Jax. He keeps on going like there’s no tomorrow. But when he falls out – look out!
August 17, 2016
Proving why he’s such a dog-gone pawsome athlete!
August 18, 2016
That’s our Jaxson!
August 17, 2016
Clever post! Like Jaxson puppy Bailey has been watching the Olympics. She liked the swimming and diving best.

Isn’t the cutest thing to watch them look at television? I love it.

Cathy and sweet Olympic Jax,
Thank you. Been hard at work this week and I needed a break, you certainly made me smile big this morning!
Loving paws from Pedro and gratitude from me!
Go Jax, go!

Oh Alessandra – so happy to hear this! It warms my heart to know that some where – someone was able to smile, if only for a little while. Thank you for this lovely comment.

😀 I think we love Jax’s version of Olympic better than original olympic! <3 He seems more energetic and exciting! And so adorable too! 😀

We’ve seen some swimming and gymnastics. We just aren’t home in the evenings these days to watch much. You boys did a great job, though.
August 18, 2016
We’ve watched the same ones. Those two are my fav’s along with a little track and field.
August 17, 2016
Oh you’ve had your own Olympic Games this summer! We’ve enjoyed watching the horse riding competitions as I think the dogs secretly wish they were built for agility and jumps — I love your pics. Clearly wrestling look like the best sport overall but nice work on the swimming competitions!

If I had to bet on one sport Christine, I would have to go with water. Jaxson can’t get enough of it. Just came back from Hilton Head, and he lived in the pool. He was swimming all afternoon with 4 kids. Hilarious!

Thanks Lindsay! Have a great week.

Jackson is quite the athlete! He would score gold in the Doodle Olympics. Those moves are excellent. I love seeing him have so much fun! 🙂
August 18, 2016
He nevre has a bad day Robin – and if I think I might – he’s the first one to change my mindset – what a great guy to have around.
August 17, 2016
Haha, this post made my day, Cathy! I can always count on you and the boys to make me smile. So creative, you and Jaxson both win a gold medal!
August 18, 2016
Thanks Elaine! Making you laugh and smile is always our goal. Have a great week!

That is SO cute!! (Love the position he’s sleeping in in that first pic – maybe he could do some gymnastics! He looks very flexible!)
We have been watching TONS of Olympics, but Rita hasn’t watched any. She’d probably only be interested in the equestrian events (but I confess… we fastforward through those!)
August 18, 2016
I laugh at him everyday because at least once a day there’s something on the television that makes him stop what he’s doing and focus on the big screen. He sleeps like that all the time, it’s crazy! But that’s my Jaxy!
August 18, 2016
This was sooo incredibly clever and cute!!
August 18, 2016
Thanks Caren – happy to know we made you smile!
August 18, 2016

August 18, 2016
That boy is ready to go for the gold! 🙂
August 18, 2016
You got that right JanK LOL He went swimming yesterday so he’s been out like a light ever since we returned from Hilton Head this evening. #poorJaxy
August 18, 2016
It is obvious that you have a Gold Medal Doodle on your hands! This was so funny! Pierre watches television too.
August 19, 2016
I think he should have gone to Rio – would definitely have gotten a following – don’t you think? 🙂
August 19, 2016
very creative post cathy! loved it.
my little bailey doesn’t watch any tv but my kibbles used to watch it all the time. she’d even bark at it when it got exciting! BOL
August 19, 2016
We haven’t started barking at anything,we’re just glued to the tv like a toddler I’m waiting for the barking – #anydaynow LOL
