The Honest Kitchen sent me a bag of Joyful Jerky Treats and before I could write my review they were #youknow

ALL GONE!

HERE’S MY STORY –

The bag of Jerky dog treats arrived around the same time the electricians started re-wiring the house. They were here for several days (three to be exact).

Living in Charleston with Doodle Dad is like going to Cheers –

Everybody knows your his name!

The electrician is a childhood friend, so we were comfortable leaving the Boys in the house with them.

I laughed out loud the day Leroy asked me why Harley scratched the lower part of his (Leroy) leg during the course of the day.

He was speechless when I explained this was Harley’s way of asking for a treat. I grabbed the brand new “unopened” bag of Joyful Jerky to demonstrate.

Apparently the next two days – Harley scratched Leroy’s leg quite a bit. Over the weekend I planned to write a review about this doodle*licious delicacy.

Like Gomer Pyle (from the Andy Griffith Show) used to say –

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise

This was all that remained…

Now I understand why they love Leroy!

JUST THREE INGREDIENTS –

Whether you’re living with a cage-free chicken fiend or a ranch-raised beef fanatic – there are only three ingredients in the Joyful Jerky Treats.

• Beef – beef, salt, celery powder
• Chicken – chicken, salt, celery juice powder

Thinly sliced, human grade, and air dried to pawfection. You can choose either beef bites or beef fillets…

I wanted the bites because I wanted something “special” for training…

A 3.25 oz bag costs $9.99. If I’m being honest – That’s on the high end of my budget spectrum – but well worth it to splurge for a special occasion such as training. #keepingitreal

THE REST OF THE STORY CONTENTS? –

I happily let them devour the remaining crumbs like a child would do with the last remnants of a cracker jack box.

I let Harley lick the rest out of the palm of my hand…

While Jaxson nibbled on the larger pieces…

 ONE MORE THING –

Jaxson has been training for his pet therapy certification (hence the Joyful Jerky Treats) #ohwell

Saturday, he pawticed on his Auntie Verne as she recuperates from foot surgery…

She’s still alive so we’re almost ready for testing!

HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND? –
