A deluxe waterproof dog seat car cover by Travelingpaws has been the answer to my prayers this spring…

Since the beginning of the year, Harley, Jaxson and I are constantly on the go.

Whether we’re –

  • searching for “groovy hidden treasures” around town to share with you in the Doodle Spot
  • taking Harley to his pet therapy J.O.B. at the MUSC Children’s Hospital
  • headed to the beach

– they are in and out of the car often. #roaddoodlewarriors

Although Doodle Dad would disagree, I really do try to keep the car clean. 🙁

But that’s hard to do with two dogs. #Doodlemomwhine

Hair, paw prints, treat crumbs seem to get all over the place…

Having a car seat cover that traps all the mess and is “easy to clean” – makes all the difference in the world…

I’ve never liked placing them in the rear of the SUV because I cannot control the person behind me. I cringe at the thought of getting rear ended with Harley back there…

So they’re back seat harness riders. #Doodlesafety

I’ve used car seat covers in the past, but this one is different!

It’s –

  • waterproof
  • extra durable
  • easy to install

BONUS –

Your purchase includes two collapsible dog dishes that store in the 2 pockets of the seat cover #sweet

I am impressed with the premium quality material. It’s very soft and manageable – yet still waterproof! The rain just beads up on the cover…

ADDITIONAL FEATURES –

  • Non slip backing and anchors to prevent sliding around while you drive
  • Made from 600D polyester, quilted, high stitched velcro seams
  • No hassle money back guarantee

GIVEAWAY –

What a “groovy” opportunity to try your luck and win your very own deluxe car seat cover w/bonus dog dishes.

ONE MORE THING –

I worried initially if Harley would have difficulty getting up in the car with the seat cover. He usually hops on the floor then the seat. But just so you know – it was easy-peasy for him…

It’s a tall order indeed. Jax seems to drag everything into the car with him. Swift-It gone wrong!!!

Looks like a nice cover. We have one for the back seat and for the rear of the suv that we use all the time. Seat covers are a necessity.

They certainly are Emma. This way I don’t have to worry about what Jax is tracking in my car LOL

I don’t currently use a seat cover like this, although I do have one bucket seat cover I use when either my own dogs ride with me or I drive a rescue transport. I typically crate most of the dogs, but if there is one appropriate for riding “shotgun”, I tether one on the front passenger seat (my airbag disengages when there is a low weight on the seat – less than that of an adult human). I’d love this for keeping my vehicle clean when I drive dogs.

This just might be the one for you to check out Linda. I have purchased a few also, but they were hard, and difficult to roll up, shake out or hose down. This one is so soft and durable. I love it 🙂

That looks like a great seat cover! We have been through several different brands over the years!

Me too Nicole – hence why I am so in love with this one. I have high hopes that it lasts. I love how easy it is to clean.

Nice seat cover! I like how it comes with water bowls too. I’m always scrambling to find mine.

The collapsible ones are my favorite, because they fit almost anywhere!

What a great product and review. right now I do not have a seat cover for my car. This would be handy.

I lived a long time w/o one, now that I’ve got one, I don’t think I’ll ever stop using it. Good luck in the giveaway 🙂

This looks a lot like the one we purchased just after buying the new car. Jeff is committed to keeping this car clean(ER) so he wanted a seat cover. The boys don’t like it because they like to sit with momma. 🙂 And we just got the car tinted…. We’ll see how long this lasts for…. But it’s a good idea, for sure.

Jaxson used to love to stand on the floor in the back seat and rest his front body on the console as if he needed to see the traffic LOL – hopefully this will be a deterrent. We’ll see.

I need! I just got a new car and I won’t even let the dogs in it yet. (That’s why I didn’t trade in the old one).

I hear you. Doodle Dad used to get so annoyed (especially on Sunday) when we were going out (w/o Doods) and the car was a complete wreck. Now all I have to do is remove the car seat cover and he’s happy 🙂

Baby and I don’t currently use a car seat cover, because I’ve had trouble finding one that I’m willing to pay the big bucks for. But being a short haired dog, Baby’s fur once shed sticks into EVERYTHING, including my car seats. We should maybe make this a bigger priority, haha.

My car is only a two door, though. Do you think there’s enough slack on a seat cover like this for a two door car?

    • Cathy Bennett
      May 4, 2016

I agree with you Melissa, some of the covers can get a bit pricey. I think this one is reasonable especially after using it, I really like it. I shared your question with the owner. Here’s what he said: “Do u think she means slack to cover the front seats? Or to get the dog in? I would think she could undo the strap on the headrest on the drivers seat put the dog in and then put the strap back on.” I hope that helped.

We don’t use a car seat cover currently, but we probably should start!

I don’t use a car cover, but I really need one. My backseat is covered in fur!

      May 6, 2016

I remember when I first started using a car seat cover – it was like a whole new world! It may not eliminate fur, but it certainly reduces and centralizes it quite a bit. Have a great weekend Molly – thanks for stopping by, come back and visit again soon!

BC Davison – I know exactly how you feel. It’s one of those products that you don’t think about and then you see one and think “man, I could use one of those!” So far I’ve been extremely pleased with this one.

      May 7, 2016

I was the same way bc davison – never really thought about it until I saw one. Then once I got one, I can’t imagine life without one. LOL

i dont have one, been looking for one that is padded and waterproof and will fit my car. i currently use lots of big beach towels on the seats and a blanket.

      May 9, 2016

Been there and done that one too Sandy! I can tell you this, while I see everything as costly LOL – when I first made the investment, I was super excited – just a little disappointed that I didn’t do my homework and selected one that couldn’t hold up to the wear and tear of my two boys. This one I have hope in, time will tell – but I love how it protects my car seat! Thanks for stopping by, come back and visit soon!
