As we prepared for our morning walk Friday, I told the boys (confession time – yes I talk to them), after breakfast they were going to day camp. Talk about an immediate reaction!
My usual “rowdy convicts” turned into “model prisoners” – this is what they did…
While I got dressed, looked for my keys, and such – they waited patiently…
And there was absolutely no problems going to the car without a leash, no running away at all…
When we got there, they were “doodle-thrilled” to see John…
But the real excitement came during the course of the day! Not only did they get to play with their friends, AND get their “spa bath”, but two of their friends celebrated birthdays, complete with a good ole fashion “Olde Towne Pet Resort Birthday Soiree.”

And Rocko Bell..
They must have played games – like musical chairs, but Leo was the only one who heard the music stop as he raced for a seat!…
You can’t have a party without treats for the guests…
And those treats must have been good, because Harley would not leave poor Brooke alone…
There was birthday cake! One for Rocko…
And one for Sherlock…
Cake was shared with all the guest, to include my “can’t miss a treat” Harley-Darley…
The party was a huge success, and the boys were happy to see me when I came to retrieve them…
Friday night and Saturday morning was “unusually” quiet in our home (thank you OTPR) no doubt from all the festivities that took place at the parties! Their DS (doodle sister) thought the whole thing was a “cool idea”, and now she’s looking into party “goodie bags” for when Leo hosts his big three year old bash in May…
Heaven help us!
