JULY PETBOX REVIEW | PART 1

Hi there – Harley here,

A few weeks ago I happened to glance over and read Doodle Mom’s email exchange with a man named “Dusty” from PetBox. She wrote and told him about Leo and suggested we forfeit our July “goodies.” She didn’t think she would be up for a product review post this soon.

I panicked because I live and breathe for that box. I get fur “goosies” when she lifts the top up and I see that beautiful black gift wrapped paper folded so nicely waiting for me to tear into that blue seal #oohbaby

This is a beautiful sight to my Doodle eyes...

This is a beautiful sight to my Doodle eyes…

Can you believe PetBox wrote back – said they were sending the July box “anyway?” They were sending it for me to enjoy and told Mom not to worry about a review.  What pawsome peeps!

Reading her email made me think about the amount of  work involved with testing, writing and posting about “my” fun with all the goodness that comes out of these boxes. So I decided it was time for me to step up my game and be a little more “paws on” with these reviews.

Perhaps this time I was a little too “paws on” because I’m writing this post while serving “Doodle detention”

It's hot out here in this garage!

It’s hot out here in this garage!

Allow me to explain PART I and then “she’ll” write PART II.

I was doodlely excited to see the contents of this months blue box…

It's got my name on the box and everything!

It’s got my name on the box and everything!

It was filled with toys, treats, and cleaning products this month – felt like we’d hit the “Doodle-load” fursure!

YAKY CHARMS made of cow milk, yak milk, salt and lime juice, is a treat for the microwave like the humans do with popcorn. 1-3 minutes, let those babies cool, and all I needed was a movie! You get quite a bit in one bag, so Mom has lots left for later…

Smells doodle*licious too!

BIONIC the 2-in-1 toss-n-tug interactive toy made from a revolutionary material that withstands even my Doodle tugging…

You can flip it around to change its shape when your “tugging vs. tossing”

Looks easy enough to do...

Looks easy enough to do…

But I never gave my anipal Marshall a chance to flip it #whenyousnoozeyouloose

Mine, mine, MINE

Mine, mine, MINE

He did try tossing it to me – once…

I caught it (sort of) and I remained in the garage where it was nice and cool…

Not coming back out and you can't make me!

Not coming back out and you can’t make me!

TWIGO PET ID TAGS offers YOU a chance to get rid of those noisy tags hanging from OUR collars! Made of rubber, it’s lightweight, attaches easily/securely, durable/weatherproof, and cleans with soap and water. I like it because I can be all “stealth like” when I want to sneak around the house. Comes in bright colors and stylish shapes. A special pen is provided for you to personalize the back of the tag…

I got the purple crown...

I got the purple crown…

There were three more products left in the box…

But this is where my story stops and Doodle Mom’s will start. She’ll be back in a couple of days with her version of “this is how the doodle story ends.”

Everything she tells you will be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the Doodle truth.

 HOWEVER

I would like to add – in closing –

It was NOT my fault her cell phone rang! #thatsallIvegottosay #pleaseremember

In full disclosure: I was not compensated for this review. I was given a PetBox for Harley to try. All opinions are my own, seated only by Harley’s lip smacking and tail wagging approval.

As Mom always says: Thanks so much for reading, and don’t miss the conclusion later this week of PART II – PetBox Review…

Hey, is Petbox worth ordering? Looks like it has cute things in it.

Yes, Tracy, I truly believe it is. The company is friendly, easy to reach out to if you need to speak to someone. The goodies are so useful and they do not send you “trial” sizes! To me, what stands out with PetBox is your ability to “choose” the items in your box if you want to. This ensures that you are able to “use” everything in it. Imagine if your pet had an allergy to something (let’s say chicken), you can always select the treats you know he/she can eat and enjoy and you’re not wasting any money in the process. Give it a try 🙂 let me know what you think! Thanks so much for reading. Puparatzi Parties ROCK!

You did a great job. Writing and posting reviews is hard work, I know that! We are glad that you are working on keeping things running at your house. We can’t imagine how difficult it is for you both, but we love you and love to read your posts. GBGV paw hugs and enjoy your box!

Thanks Emma – just trying to get back on Mom’s good side. She’ll tell you all about it on Friday 🙁

Ahh.. we have been getting Barkbox and we can’t choose the items. Dash is not supposed to eat chicken so it’s been kind of ridiculous for us– all the treats have had chicken in them! We will have to take a look at Petbox. And, we can’t wait to hear “the rest of the story….”

DashLilly, I would definitely tell you to give it a shot. It’s been nothing but a blast since we’ve started. I like the products they are affiliated with, and the sizes are generous. But for my picky eater, having the option to select what I know “won’t” upset his tummy, in addition to having the ability to select his favorites again and again was the deciding factor here in Doodleville. Let me know if you do and what you think.

There are so many fun items in Pet Boxes. I wish they shipped to Canada.

It looks like you guys got a great haul 🙂 I’m really wanting to get a Lickety Stick for Bain.

Hi April – I didn’t know they didn’t ship to Canada 🙁 It was a great box. Lickety Stix are the best! Harley has loved them for years, but check out Part 2 of this product review to see how I messed things up 🙁 It really was my fault and not Harley’s. Thanks for stopping by, I will sign up for your blog later today!
