PET PARENT ARSENAL

It’s Sunday morning. we’re getting ready for church and Doodle Dad starts throwing shade. He’s teasing me about my pet parent arsenal in the bathroom. All because he needed to borrow some toothpaste.

According to him, there was so much dog stuff mixed in with the human stuff he didn’t know which was what #menexaggeratePET PARENT ARSENAL I pointed at each product – like Vanna White (extended arm and all) – defining AND defending their purpose and significance. He said this wasn’t normal. I said it was. Finally we agreed to disagree.

Of course I rested my case that I was like any other pet parent in America, and my cabinet represented us all.

He challenged me, so here you go. Here’s my arsenal… PET PARENT ARSENAL

WHAT’S IN YOUR WALLET MEDICINE CABINET? –

Does it look familiar? Do you have something similar in your bathroom cabinet? According to Webster’s Dictionary, the definition of the word arsenal is –

an array of resources available for a certain purpose.

Dear Doodle Dad, meet my “certain purpose” #oneofthemPET PARENT ARSENAL #dropthemic

Oh please, how can he possibly get confused when the doggie stuff is on a separate shelf!? I have at least one full shelf and one full drawer of doggie stuff – I have SO much! Yeah, I’d say we’re totally normal pet parents.

Sometimes the contents on the shelves do co-mingle – but like I tell him, whenever have you used ear wax cleaner that has a photo of a dog on the bottle? LOL Men are so silly – I just try to love and ignore mine 🙂

Not always Mia, there are those days when everything for everyone is all over the place. I told Doodle Dad – if there’s a pet on it – 9 out of 10 times it ain’t for you LOL

Well, since they have their own shelf, that seems pretty well organized! But.. I must admit, our bathroom only has the human stuff in it. Rita’s medical stuff is in a big ol’ drawer with her leashes and what not by the front door.

Since I’ve been dealing with ear issues due to the environmental allergens, I moved the ear solution and cleaners upstairs in the bathroom, along with the toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc… It just sort of expanded all on its own LO

Well, with all the dog dad’s medications, there’s no room at all in the medicine cabinet for mine or the dogs’ meds. Luckily, we have other places to keep our meds.

Same here, Lee keeps his in the kitchen – he would absoDOODLEtutely die if I shared his array of meds! LOL

I might have that much but it is spread all over the place. I am nowhere near that organized!

Don’t be too impressed Taryn, remember I just moved a couple of months ago. Check bak with me early next year. Guarantee you it won’t look like that.

We have two plastic totes with medicines and such in our kitchen pantry; for easy access to add to meals. Whoops, actually three now – we had to separate kitty Sam’s from the dogs’ because it was getting too confusing!
On top of that, I also have a tote in our bedroom closet (we don’t have a medicine cabinet in the bathroom but it’s right next to it) full of shampoos and conditioners. Heck, that’s just that stuff, right? Don’t even count the baskets and totes with bandanas, collars, and coats/sweaters!! 🙂
So, yes, you can tell Doodle Dad that you are completely normal (or as normal as we get anyway….).
