Pet friendly hotels are popping up all across the country. If you checked in last Wednesday, you know I promised to tell you where we were headed this weekend.

We’re off to review a pet friendly hotel in Richmond, VA!…

PET FRIENDLY HOTELS

The Graduate Richmond is brand spanking new and they’ve invited the Boys for the weekend to experience their friendly furry hospitality then share our photos and fun with all of you.

It’s a trendy hotel with mid-century modern decor with accents inspired by local Richmond tennis legend, Arthur Ashe…

TRAVELING WITH YOUR PUP –

Both Jaxson and Harley love to travel, but they do it differently.

Jaxson is very fidgety – he’s a puppy version of the small child who asks every 20 miles –

Are we there yet?

He’s anti harness, crate resistant, and known to “pop up” on the console when you least expect it #jaxinthebox …

It’s a real struggle to get him compliant with our driving rules. Pet Safety is non-negotiable.

I’m renting a larger vehicle in the hopes that he will be able to stretch out – stay harnessed and chill. It’s a six hour drive – I need it to be pleasant for all of us.

Richmond, VA is like home for us – we both went to college there. This is homecoming weekend, and the human children are meeting us…

Sunday the hotel is hosting a doggie costume party…

Of course we’re ready! Costumes already packed 🙂

So – stay tuned, look for a Graduate Hotel in your area (there are 12 located in about 10 states right now) and we will take plenty of photos to share next week.

We’re out #dropthemic

Sounds like a really fun road trip! Madison and I get in, buckle up and sleep pretty much until Mom stops the car for us to get out. Bailie is like Jaxson. She wears her seat belt just fine, but she sits up the entire ride be it 1 or 14 hours, pants in Mom’s ear from the back seat, fidgets and can’t wait to just be there. We don’t know why, but it is what it is.

What a groovy place, fitting for a couple Groovy Goldendoods. Have a super weekend.

I’ve never heard of that chain, but they are sounding great. Oh, and I LOVE that room! That sounds like a fun trip and stay, hope you are enjoying yourselves, and can’t wait to hear all about it!
