FROM A DOODLES PAWSPECTIVE

Hello – It’s Wordless Wednesday, and I’m supposed to be brief 🙂 #Idotry

There is so much going on in the world lately, I find myself running #literally away from the news.

The other day (in bumper to bumper traffic) I tried to listen to CNN. It was so draining, rapidly I was feeling run down, exhausted – as if I was in a marathon.

Then I turned and looked at Jaxson. His carefree smile said it all…

We’re keeping the faith as Hurricane Irma has just shifted in our direction.

To Be Continued….

Thanks Debi – so far just a great deal of rain and extreme wind. We’ve still got power so we feel blessed.

Live in the moment except when you might need to prepare for a disaster. Crossed paws and prayers that Irma stays away

Jan, it was a lot of water and wind, but nothing like others have experienced. I feel blessed beyond measure.

Keeping fingers crossed Irma stays away from Charleston! We were headed to Myrtle on Saturday but that is on hold now until we know where Irma goes next. Don’t want to get there only to need to evacuate.

    Stay safe!

That was a great decision. Myrtle Beach is probably closed because of storm surge. You did the right thing.

Love that saying. I can see how Jaxson could make you forget your cares. As Jan said, living in the moment is great, except when preparing for a hurricane. I have family on the east coast of FL, so know what you are going through. Hope you all stay safe!

A little tardy responding, but sitting here feeling blessed with electricity while Irma passes through. We’re safe and dry!

That quote is easier said than done especially in the face of a hurricane. I hope you all stay safe and that hurricane takes a big, sharp turn out into the Atlantic before it gets to Florida.

Ugh. I hear you. We’re not even in the path of the many hurricanes (or the fires) but I get so worried listening to the news it’s crazy. I have to limit how much I can listen to. I hope Irma veers off!! Will be sending good thoughts your way – and to all those in the path of these storms.

Jackie, I can’t seem to get away from it. So annoying. I can’t wait for next week and there will be something different to listen to.

I never advise anyone to stay away from the news. It is important to know what is going on. But you might want to take a break from CABLE NEWS. They seem to specialize in riling people up.

    Peace to you.

I agree with you – there has to be a balance. When you’re in the center of the attraction it over whelms you, everywhere you go, store, work, neighbors, that’s all folks are talking about. Glad when this is all over.

You have to smile when you see that darling face!! We are praying for you and other as Irma heads towards the U.S.

We’ve been thinking of you, and hoping the latest we just saw has Irma heading away from you. You’ll be in our prayers to stay safe, and hopefully at home. I’m just glad you have someplace to go if you need to.
Oh, to be a dog, and not have these worries! Ignorance definitely is bliss.

Thanks Jan, we stayed here and hunkered down. So far, so good – can’t wait for this to all be over. Walking dogs in the pouring rain is not my favorite thing to do.
