GOLDENDOODLES – GNOMES AND BOOZE POPS

Goldendoodles – Gnomes and Booze Pops, crazy title I know.

But after you read this, tell me – what would you have named it!

WALKING WITH MY BOYS –

I believe the reason I enjoy walking my Boys around Charleston is because we’re always meeting people and making friends…

GOLDENDOODLES - GNOMES AND BOOZE POPS

King Street is one of our favorite routes. It’s filled with unique boutiques, and plenty of choices for tasty treats.

The corner of King and Calhoun Streets is a very popular intersection.

Constant traffic – especially walkers.

That’s probably why the Booze Pops Truck hangs out there…

GOLDENDOODLES - GNOMES AND BOOZE POPS

Not sure if it’s just me, but I have never seen or heard of such a thing.

You can find almost anything you want in the form of a popsicle, squeeze pop, or slushy in a cup #madewithbooze

GOLDENDOODLES - GNOMES AND BOOZE POPS

If you’re ever in Charleston during the warmer months (March through October) look them up on Facebook. I understand they post their location – so they’re easy to find.

Tell em “Harley” sent you 🙂

Don’t be pushed by your problems – be led by your dreams ❤️

That’s pretty cool! Do they show up on Sundays, too; or is Charleston a no-liquor-sales-on-Sundays town too?

No Booze-Pops truck on Sunday 🙁

You would see me running out to the sidewalk if we had THAT kind of popsicle truck in the neighborhood. LOL!

HA! I just got that visual MK – you dragging Pierre and Bentley across the street!

What a great idea! I’ll have to try some if I visit Charleston!

I haven’t tried it yet, waiting for the summer months when my two legged children arrive. I’ll let you know how it was Heather. From the look of the lines and smiling faces it’s got to be pretty good.

I can see the two of you with Harley and the Gnome sitting on the corner – sipping through the straw with the tiny umbrella hanging off the side! LOL

That is so cool!! (no pun intended!). I’d love to visit Charleston, is it on the way to Myrtle Beach? We’re driving to the conference & love to make fun stops along the way. I love the photo of your dog ( is that Jax?) and the silver gnome, LOL!!

Hey Cathy – We’re going to finally meet at BP 2017 YIPPEE!!!!
No that’s Harley with the silver gnome.

It depends on the direction in which you’re going – however Charleston’s about 80 miles away and according to their FB page they are there on some weekends too!

This does sound like an interesting place to walk! I haven’t seen any booze pop trucks before either. Those would probably do very well in my area. I personally don’t drink, but it is quite the past time in these parts. Harley looks like he had quite a lot of fun investigating those gnomes. 🙂

I like to drink a glass of red wine from time to time, but on a really hot day, I wouldn’t mind trying one of those popsicles and sit on the side of the street under a tree with a few friends! It’s a novel idea – especially in a town with a ton of tourists #likeCharleston

MMMM-MMM! Alcoholic Icey Pops! Nothing better on a hot day!

I think I will try one with friends one day this summer.

The question is, can you drive after eating one?

    • Cathy Bennett
      March 8, 2017

I think the average person who grabs one is probably walking. I don’t believe the alcohol content is that high – good question. I would like to think people would not eat a pop and then drive…

Man, that sounds like the perfect grownup treat! I’d be standing in line. (And I’m experiencing deep jealousy over how sunny your photos are! It’s still dark and cloudy in Oregon.)

I think that’s one of the reasons Charleston has always been my happy place. The state is known for it’s beautiful blue skies which always makes me smile. Yep, I think I’ve got to try a popsicle at least once this summer. Should be tasty after a day at the beach with two doodles. Take care Jean.

Booze Pops! Now we are talking. We have lots of food trucks – cupcake truck, taco truck, french fry truck, but we do not have a Booze Pop truck! Send it up our way.

It’s not just you, I’ve never heard of such a thing! But I have to say it sounds like a good idea on a hot day! I can see me and my girlfriends being all over that for fun, when at the beach, or out shopping.

Also location at Folly Beach Usually Thursdays through Sundays. 317 Meeting St and 424 King st. Our mission statement is “Bringing communities together one Booze Pop at a time”.

And if we can get away with it we are going to have a Boozepop Boat this summer.

Hi “Woody” – nice to meet you! When you add those puppy treats – give me a holler and we will certainly come back and take some photos while the Boys enjoy the freeze pops!

How cool! The frozen puppy treats would be awesome too. We have to make it down to your area one day soon, so many cool sites, sounds and eats!
