DOG LAND APP

Dog Land App is our new social media furrend.

Free, easy to navigate, and a pawsome tool for you to share your life with your dog.

Dog Land App is new – it’s fun and ideal for dog lovers!

Here’s why I like this so much…

“I” am the family member who created and therefore am ultimately responsible for the “traveling doodle monsters” living in our home! Harley & Leo are both conditioned AND honestly believe where “I go – they go.” If I even “try” to leave them, they give me the most pitiful look EVER

WHO? I ask, would not change their mind staring at this face...

More times then I should –  I fall for that “doodle pout” and give in…

I know, I need therapy...

Whether we’re planning an overnight journey…

Leo will sit with the luggage for hours to ensure he's not left behind.

Or just “doodling around town” running a few errands…

Because Harley's so welcome, we're loyal customers at Home Depot

It would be a real “doodle plus” to know in advance about places where Harley can shop right along with me…

That is why Dog Land was so intriguing to me…

The app, which has been attracting thousands of new users each week, lets users share photos, connect with fellow dog lovers and find and vote on dog friendly places such as dog parks, pet stores, cafés, hotels and more.  Users can “mark their territory” at their favorite places and, if they like something, they “dig it.”

The idea for the app came about when CEO Jonathan Kolker got a Cocker Spaniel named “Eddie.” Kolker was curious as to what were the most dog friendly places in the city.

My personal favorite thus far: “Exploring Places.” Whether you’re looking for dog furrendly places in your own community or while vacationing hundreds of miles from home. This app helps you gain knowledge in “advance” about almost “everything” imaginable:

  • Dog Parks
  • Pet Stores & Services
  • Vets
  • Animal Shelters & Rescues
  • The Great Outdoors
  • Food & Dining
  • Cafes
  • Shops & Services
  • Travel & Hotels

All conveniently located at your fingertips!

So if you’re like me and you:

  • Want to find new outdoor pup fun in your area
  • Would love to stop for a bite to eat at a nice pet furrendly restaurant.
  • Need a vet while away from home, and would appreciate a rating from other pet parents before making the call…

Worry no more! Simply load the app, start exploring, and share more “doodle fun” with your BFF’s (best furry furrends)…

How do we rate the Dog Land App?….

It would be nice to know where we are allowed. In Germany we could go almost everywhere…a not allowed was an exception. Sadly, the app is not for windows phones so we will have to wait. We did ask at Home Depot one time. They said dogs are not allowed but people bring them all the time. Mom was afraid of being embarrassed or getting in trouble, so we haven’t tried there.

Emma I know exactly what you mean, we didn’t have the Boys when we lived in Germany, but if we did, they would have loved living there. Hopefully the app will be available for Windows phones soon. We will ask them for you…
So far, Home Depot hasn’t “put us out” but if ever asked we will leave quietly and immediately – don’t want no “doodle trouble”

Interesting idea. We don’t do a lot of traveling, but useful for those that do. Funny about Leo and the suitcases. Tino would go jump in the car and just wait…and wait…

Hey Slim – the only reason Leo wasn’t in the car was because the storm door was closed….

So far Ann, I’ve been enjoying just checking off some fun activities for future adventures. Since we end up in foreign places all the time – I’m famous for detouring at any given moment. It is nice to know that I’ve got this neat little tool by my fingertips – take care.

There’s an app for that! Also, I love going to home depot too!

Hey there Rukus – Home Depot is the spot! We like to lay real still in the shopping cart and let people think we’re stuffed animals – tee-hee…..
