Trying to purchase a new car is like navigating through space in the Star Ship Enterprise! It is an arduous journey! The list of various car features one must choose from have quadrupled over the years. My dad would say, the choices have gone from the “sublime to the ridiculous.”
Even what some people would classify as “essential equipment and features” can seem somewhat “elite and unnecessary.” #justmyopinion
The Doodle bus doesn’t come equipped with an abundance of bells and whistles but what car features it does have, I am grateful and thankful for.
He is practical, reliable and works well for my needs…
- Entertainment System – doesn’t sing, but keeps me laughing
- Heated Seats – I just let him in first and he never fails me
- Navigation System – without fail, he wags his tail, and wiggles that butt whenever we’re approaching a familiar destination alerting me we’re almost there!
- Security System – Won’t let anyone near the vehicle
- Road Side Assistance – haven’t had to use him, but if we needed help, I’d tell him to hang out the window and everybody would stop – guaranteed!
Not sure if they’re still making this model, but if you’re interested – I suggest you locate a dealer near you quickly!

September 17, 2014
Dash & Lilly, the doodle bus is starting to become a popular “ride” –
September 17, 2014
Does it come with the dog?
September 17, 2014
My model did! 🙂
September 17, 2014
Does it also come with a car locator feature? Some of those parking lots are just too big!
September 17, 2014
Chewy – I believe he could “sniff” our way to where it was parked if I needed him to – I’ll have to add that feature, thanks for the suggestion…

Corso Taxi – love that term. Just watched a segment on the news about the best day to buy a car – reporter said the end of the month! Happy hunting 🙂

I need a new car, but I like simple stuff too. Heck, I didn’t even have a cell phone until I was 25. I think most of my friends started keeping them when we were juniors and seniors in high school lol.
September 18, 2014
Ann, perhaps because I’m older than you are – I didn’t get a cell phone until I was in my 40’s 🙂 BOL I too don’t need the entire kitchen sink in my car. I just need it to be safe and reliable.

Awwhhh Bethany, I know exactly how you feel, believe me. My daughter experienced very aggressive breast cancer twice – once at 25 and again at 28. She’s 37 now, and in remission – PRAISE GOD – so I empathize with you. Hold tightly on what you believe in, and remember to take care of yourself. Know that Harley and I are always here for you 🙂
