As Brand Ambassador for chewy.com – Harley is allowed to taste test one or two items every month. When he found out that GREENIES DENTAL CHEWS are now GRAIN FREE, it was all over. the Fat Lady Doodle started singing…
Harley has been eating Greenies Dental Chews since he was about 2.5 years old. They’re not only the #1 Vet-Recommended Dental Chew, they also have The Veterinary Oral Health Council Seal of Acceptance for plaque and tartar control…
His Doodle Doc recommended them (in addition to me brushing his teeth of course) and to say they’re a hit here in Doodleville is an understatement. #lovesthem
GREENIES Dental Chews provides –
- Total oral health solution
- Safe and easy treat to digest
- Irresistible taste
- Unique sizes and variety
The new Grain Free Chews are formulated with chickpeas and potato for a more natural diet, making these low-fat chews perfect for daily treating…
When it’s time for his GREENIES I only have to call once. He comes running like a wild stallion. It’s a beautiful thing, makes me look like I’ve out done myself with recall training #Igotjokes …
Poor Jax – he’s too young for a dental chew, he just runs because Harley runs. #sillydoodle

Those boys look pretty excited!
Believe it or not, we’ve never tried Greenies (shhh…don’t tell the dogs what they’re missing). It’s only because we avoid long lasting treats since we’ve always had dogs that don’t respect each other’s belongings, and we have to avoid fights breaking out. One day I might try them though, and just send them all to separate rooms!

I certainly understand what you mean. Jax is too young for Greenies, so I always have to keep him entertained while Harley eats his. I don’t dare think about what catastrophic end of the world battle would ensue if Jax tried to taste a piece of Harley’s Greenie! #yikes

We love Greenies at our house. Great review!

Sue – they are a real hit here too! I try to make sure I’ve always got some on hand, this is one treat I don’t want to run out of! Thanks for stopping by.

One thing is for sure, Greenies has a wide variety of choices!

This is true Emma, we don’t mess with a good thing though, I’ve stuck with the same kind – now I’ll switch over to the grain-free since Harley’s getting older.

We haven’t tried Greenies yet…but since they’re available in a grain-free version now, we just might get our paws on some 😉

Nice Barbara – I haven’t heard of a dog that didn’t fall in love with them yet – so can’t wait to hear about your dogs reaction. Let me know 🙂

It is so nice to hear more and more treats going grain free. We feed a grain free food so it only makes sense to treat the same way. We will have to check out these grain free Greenies next time we are picking up some dental chews!

I know what you mean – I switched to a more natural (grain-free) dehydrated dog food about 6-7 weeks ago and I really like what I’m seeing. Energy level, coat, poop, etc… So this new grain-free dental chew works great with the changes I’m making.

Good for Greenies! We tried them once. My pack loved them but they were a little on the pricey side and our vet compared dental treats in general to a Mickey D’s quarter pounder when it came to calories. YIKES! So we opted for just teeth brushing. Thanks for sharing! Let us know if they get a skinny option 🙂

Hey Faith – Actually they do have a “weight management” Greenie out there now. My friend was concerned about the calorie content as well and what she ended up doing was buying the smaller size (I think their called petites or teenies) and she gave them to her dogs after teeth brushings as a reward for allowing her to use the toothbrush on them. I thought that was a great idea! #justsharing

My gang loved them too, nice to have a grain free option in greenies now.

I agree JoAnn, got to watch those figures now don’t we? LOL
