DEMEANOR OF THE GOLDENDOODLE #BLOGGING FROM A-Z

The demeanor of the Goldendoodle is what I would describe as magical. #abracadabradoodle

D

While the Goldendoodle believes everybody should be his friend, play ball, swim, fetch, chase or engage in a good ole fashion game of tug of war. They are just as content to lounge, cuddle and watch TV.

They are cheerful, trustworthy, gentle, affectionate, and smart…

everybody

There’s no strong prey drive which makes them compatible with cats, and smaller dogs (when introduced correctly).

Not known for being problem barkers, they will bark to alert you that someone or something is lurking around outside.

Harley barks but Jaxson has taken on the habit of growling low and slow. #myBarryWhiteDoodle

Many websites mention their obsession with digging when left outside alone for long periods of time. My Boys aren’t left outside, so I cannot confirm or deny that statement.

I will tell you they are very social dogs. They flourish and love human companionship, and crumble if not given enough time, attention and affection.

Socialization is key along with the right breeder and genes. If you do your research you should bring home a loving, out going and friendly Goldendoodle who is devoted to his family.

This year over 500 bloggers from across the world will participate in the A-Z blogging challenge.

We will attempt to blog everyday during the month of April (minus Sundays) completing the entire alphabet in one month.

Our Theme? – “Everything Goldendoodle.” ❤️

*I am not a breeder nor a veterinarian. I am a Doodle Mom searching and sharing a better understanding about everything Goldendoodle.

Mom often wishes we had no or little prey drive. We are so into critters she says it is ridiculous!

Gentle giants! At least when compared to my Ducky. No, not “giant” like a Great Dane, just when standing next to a small dog.
